Rendevous Club — Restaurant in Alvin

Worst experience ever! If I could give negative stars I would! "Mamma" is the worst bartender ever! I'm relatively new to the area and typically go to bubbs....but they closed early ( great service there and they treat you like family).I had just gotten off work and needed a quick drink. My friends and I waited for over twenty minutes not even to be greet'ed. I politely said ma'am can we we please get service and she said "wait let me clean up".? She then remarked to a couple at the end of the bar who gave me dirty looks and stared at me the whole time I was there; very unprofessional "mamma". I let her clean an area where guest had just left as she returns from behind the bar I then again try to order drinks....yet she asked for my i.d. and gives it back ten minutes later telling me she refuses service because I was rude. I have been in the service industry for 8+ years and know I was not rude. I understand if I had cursed but this was not the case. I will never be back and word of mouth is a very unpleasant thing. After I had left upon returning home my friends waited an hour just to get drinks! Shortly after leaving she then tried to give a random credit card to my friends stating it was mine. The old lady refused my service why would I even give her a card! I'm lucky I got my i.d. back! Wow, atleast know your bar guest/regulars or not! No stars rendezvous and I can't wait to speak to whoever runs such a inhospitable establishment!...

My husband and I went in for the first time and felt so welcome. The patrons were very friendly. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. I liked that they had a waitress that came to get our drink orders and keep our table cleaned. The kj was fantastic. He had all the songs we wanted to sing. He was fair in the way he did the karaoke lineup and didn't show favoritism to the regulars. If we are ever back in alvin we will...

Y'all have got to try this bar! It's awesome! We were here on a Saturday night...played some pool, did some kareokee and drank some gooooood drinks!! Shout out to the bartender...
