Let's just start off by saying this place is easily my favorite restaurant in town. It has been a staple my entire life and I have only grown to love it more and more as I've gotten older.
The pizza is the absolute best! They have different types of crusts to choose from and fresh toppings galore. They have gluten free friendly menu items as well. You cannot pass up on the nachos with chili cheese and guac. We get it pretty much every time we come in. The have soup during the cold months and daily lunch specials that are very well-priced and convenient. You will often see folks coming in to pick up orders for the whole office and then you will see those same people come in that evening to enjoy the atmosphere.
The menu is pretty extensive and they feature special sandwiches and pizzas all the time. They have beer and wine with a great selection on draft that is always changing.
It has a very hole in the wall feel - the whole place is covered with fun memorabilia and the booths/tables are separated by photo collages of patrons from years past. You can easily spend hours checking out the photos on the walls and tables. You will be surprised who you might see! There are pool tables in the back with a jukebox and a pergola to sit and relax at outside.
Pat's Place has fun events during the week. Tuesday is Blue Grass Night & Wednesday is Trivia Night or Oyster Night (depending on the season). The biggest night out of the whole year is St. Patty's Day. The owner Pat colors his beard green just for the occasion. The have corned beef and hash, green beer, and live music all day long.
I absolutely love...
Read moreHiding out from the hurricane, we were looking for a local place to eat and settled on Pat's Place due to their 4.7 stars. At first we were a little skeptical because it's a bar basically. But let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious. I got my usual,a Reuben which was delicious. One guest got a graduated grilled cheese which I almost wish I'd ordered. Different types of cheese sliced tomato and pesto absolutely delicious! My son got a chicken Caesar wrap, and unfortunately it was not chicken Caesar but more like a bacon ranch type wrap. But, he said it was really good for what it was. Which is saying something lol and lastly we had an order of the cheesy garlic bread. Absolute show stealer! Out of this world! We even got an order to take home because it was that good. The employees were all very pleasant, the locals were very accommodating and friendly. If I had to find one thing that I wasn't a fan of, it was very crowded. The seating is like back to back making it almost impossible to move around. But I get it, the food is that good. Just something to think about. Five...
Read moreMy sweet ever-loving lord, this restaurant is the greatest of all food purveyors. Every meal comes with a free helping of pure unadulterated love. The owner Pat instantly greeted us at the door, settled us into our table, and kissed our souls with his words. The other servers were equally warm and helpful, in a way that felt truly genuine. Food was cheap, came in good portions, and tasted so good that my soul fluttered a few times before I had to take hold of it and force it back into myself. Pat planted a seed in the ground and nourished it with tenderness until it grew into the restaurant that now stands there today. Treasure this place. Treasure Pat. Canonize him as a saint...
