I stopped at this place on a hot summer day, after riding some motorbikes. Ice cream was just what I needed.
As I looked at their flavors, I noticed they had a scotcharoo flavor. Anyone who has had one knows its an incredibly complex Midwestern dish. With butterscotch, peanut butter, chocolate, and rice krispies, I thought there is no way someone can pull this off in an ice cream flavor successfully. I decided to take a chance.
It was the best I've ever had. Every aspect of a scotcharoo, perfectly replicated in an ice cream cone. The balance of chocolate pieces, not soggy rice krispies, in the perfect ratio with the ice cream and other flavors.
