Ellie's Ice Cream & Coffee — Restaurant in Amery

I stopped at this place on a hot summer day, after riding some motorbikes. Ice cream was just what I needed.

As I looked at their flavors, I noticed they had a scotcharoo flavor. Anyone who has had one knows its an incredibly complex Midwestern dish. With butterscotch, peanut butter, chocolate, and rice krispies, I thought there is no way someone can pull this off in an ice cream flavor successfully. I decided to take a chance.

It was the best I've ever had. Every aspect of a scotcharoo, perfectly replicated in an ice cream cone. The balance of chocolate pieces, not soggy rice krispies, in the perfect ratio with the ice cream and other flavors.

Haven't been there yet weather is getting too cold for icecream now will try come spring maybe stay CORONAVIRUS free everyone OK I went to stop for a Icecream at Ellie's and it wasn't what I expected it to be first off there were 2ladies on the floor doing maintenance work to the floor which I thought to be kinda rude being a beautiful day to have icecream and being my first trip to visit this Icecream place was terrible experience not friendly at all and was rushed to place my orders needless to say If I want icecream I'll go to dairy queen or McDonald's for my icecream but yeah Ellie's do yourself a favor and do maintenance...

Ellie's is AMAZING!! If you are in search of a small-town ice cream shop, you must check out Ellie's!! The ice cream is delicious, and the service is fantastic! You can sit right in the front window and watch all the activities on the main street. If you visit on a beautiful day, you can even sit out front. They have coffee and other beverages as well and if you're in the mood to shop, there is a great little gift shop...
