My husband ordered a very specific cake over the phone yesterday afternoon for pick up for this evening. Not only did he need to repeat himself multiple times on the type of cake or the name of the birthday person the cake was for, (even spelled the name out) it was supposed to say “Happy birthday Gus - Roll a con save” and it was supposed to be on a sheet cake with strawberry cheesecake, when we received it- the name put down was “Jess” - which no big deal, we improvised, but it also was a standard ice cream cake with chocolate and vanilla ice cream with the cookie. At this point I decided it may be in the stores best interest to know of this mistake in order for them to be aware it happened so that it may not happen to anyone else. I spoke with the manager, explained the situation and gave her the information on what was expected vs what we got and even provided pictures of both the slip the team member wrote the information on and the result of the cake for their investigation. I then get a call from the owner informing me that she spoke with the team member who took the order and they (the person who took the order) assured her (the owner), that my husband (whom i was in the room with when he made the order) failed to mention the type of cake he wanted (which i tried assuring her that I was in fact present for the conversation and even had him confirm with the person about the type because that’s what we for sure wanted) and so there was nothing she could do because there was no way her employee would make a mistake because apparently for specialty cakes such as that, we would need to prepay at the time of the order and she wouldn’t have forgotten that since it’s been in effect for close to a year.

Picked up an excellent ice cream cake here. At a later date, had the $6 dollar cheeseburger meal which includes sandwich, fries, drink and small sundae. The burger wagood id, the fries slightly better. The sundae was excellent and the service was prompt and polite.

Good employees & Good food is the only reason it is getting 2 stars. The reason I am rating this place so low is because with the newest updates to the building, it seems DQ failed to update their cake menu from 1960. The options here are beyond outdated.

I walked in after ordering online and was told by the girl at the cash register after standing under the online order sign to go stand behind 8 people in line ordering food. I said I have an online order why would I have to do that? She directed me to go stand behind the line long line of people. After talking to the “manager on duty” who said “it must have been a miscommunication,” and I told her that the girl waiting in front of me was also told that, I asked for the girl at the registers first name so that I could contact the owner. She refused to give it to me. Unbelievable. I told her I would be contacting the owner as I grew up in a family owned business and know my parents would want to know the chaos that was going on that night besides what I was told and the lady in front of me.

I called a few days later. I was told immediately by the owner that she already talked to them because they told her(obviously me telling her that I would be calling the owner got their attention) and that there was a “miscommunication” already taking their side without first listening to what I had to say. There was not a miscommunication when she told the lady in front of me and myself to go to the back of the line of people ordering food when we were there to pick up food. The owner also said that I called the girl “stupid” which I did not! I am 49 years old with a 26 year old son and I was there with my boyfriend, Eric, who works as a physician in Cleveland Clinic. I am NOT going to act like that! But maybe just maybe the girls told some white lies to make their side of the story sound good to the owner and without the owner even hearing what I had to say she defended them. I’m sorry but you can’t defend telling two separate people standing under the online order sign two different times to go stand behind 8 people who haven’t even ordered yet.

This place is dysfunctional at best. They are slow! Very slow. The line was out into the street. They need more help or maybe the OWNER there to oversee what is actually happening at night! She refused to listen and I will not be back and I will let other know to drive a little distance and get better service! I’ve never had such terrible service and feedback from an OWNER! Remember when you frequent these small businesses, it starts from the top. Clearly she’s...

Love the family who owns it, they always have a very clean restaurant and food is always good . However it pains me to say this for the first time I was mistreated correction utterly disrespected by a young teenager with glasses and long nails brownish blonde hair, skinny on Wed March 6 2024.in the evening around 5-6.She yelled at me when I took my food up and said my order was wrong which it was I have a allergy to butter and asked for it to be off she yelled at me in front of everyone and called me a liar then started telling me how they cannot do that . Other customers told me to leave because I shouldn't take that kind of talking to and disrespect. I remained calm and showed her my receipt it didn't matter . She also was to busy applying her lipgloss when we took our order to double check it or give us our cups. She also spoke very nasty to a few other elderly customers. I hope she is firmly spoken too by a manager because call me old fashioned but back in my day when you work a job you work hard and treat others with utmost respect and you want to give the company and the owners a good name that...
