I recommend not going to this place. When I got there around 11:00 am, there were no fires that were coming down the mountain so I purchased a room for the night. Then around 5:00 pm I looked out the window and the entire side of the mountain was covered in fire, the Alder Creek Fire to be exact, and I got nervous, did not feel safe and did not want to stay there anymore. I tried to get just a half refund back because I didn't stay the night but I did take a shower, which was separate and used by all rooms dorm style, and I did hang out for a few hours eating the food I purchased from their restaurant in the room, with no TV I might add. As well, it was extremely hot and there is no AC but rather had to open the windows which let in all the wildfire smoke in the room. So I thought a half refund was fair and reasonable as it cost $100 a night. The owner refused which is very very sad. She was rude and has a slight attitude problem unfortunately. The fact that I was a veteran and thru hiker with a wildfire visible raging down the mountain had no significance. She is a sad bitter woman that said quote, "I do not care, it doesn't pay the...
Read moreMy husband and I drove out there Friday before last from Whitehall for their prime rib dinner. That had to be the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time. They were not busy, but so poorly organized you'd thought they were overrun. The cook went through the dining room from table to table 2-3 times with different orders trying to find out where they went. The prime rib was tender and flavorful, but overcooked. We had to go find our waitress for our check a half hour after we were done with our meal, only to be met with the rudest manager experience ever. We tried to use 2 half off dining coupons we'd purchased for our meal and were very rudely told we could only use one per visit. I found out later that it's against state law for her to do that. She pissed me off so bad that I turned her in. We...
Read moreThe World Famous Wise River Club was incredible. We had such a great time. They were able to host our party of 24 with their cabins, hotel rooms and their full hookup RV spots. The restaurant delivered, table for 24 no problem the food and service was great. The bar and live music did not disappoint, even got the bar to sing happy birthday to my son for his 21st.
Sam the bartender was incredible with her Huckleberry Moscow Mule drink.
I highly recommend taking a break from the hustle of your life and checking out the Montana big sky country at The Wise River Club. You will not be...
