Baked with Grace — Restaurant in Anamosa

I hired Baked By Grace to make two small cakes and cupcakes for my child’s first birthday, and unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the outcome. What I received looked nothing like the examples she advertised. The decorations were poorly done, lacked detail, and felt rushed — far from the clean, professional designs shown on her page.

Considering the amount of money I spent ($240) I expected much better quality and attention to detail. It was really disheartening, especially for such an important milestone. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I think it’s important for others to be aware and manage expectations accordingly.

We catered cupcakes and a small cake with Baked with Grace for our wedding and THEY WERE INCREDIBLE!!!

The cupcake spread was so pretty and our cake was whimsical and just exactly what we wanted. Communications and payment were clear, there were numerous check in before the wedding, and the cupcakes were delivered intact, on time with no fuss. The amount of time they must take to make is significant and the quality and care on the piping really shows. They were a huge hit with our guests.

If I had more than two thumbs, I would give them. Trina is a master baker both in flavors and decoration. Her buttercream is perfect - not to sweet and oh so yummy. Her decorating blows my mind. It is so incredibly lifelike that people kept doing a double take that "wait, those are made of frosting??!!". She is quick to respond to questions, helpful, incredibly sweet and oh-so-talented.
