Grounds for Hope Cafe — Restaurant in Anchorage

Are you in the vicinity of charming Anchorage, Kentucky?! If so, be certain you stop in at Grounds for Hope!!

You can get your favorite coffee, latte, iced coffee, tea, chai, etc. to-go, or spend time enjoying it in their lovely cafe ~ the back deck is particularly beautiful with its gorgeous flower boxes.

I enjoy a lavender-vanilla or caramel latte and I’m quite fond of the wonderful Depuis 1883 Maison Routin syrup selection they offer. If a mocha is more your jam, the Hollander Chocolate Company sauces are delish! They even have me covered with plant based milk offerings.

They also offer pastries, muffins, Olipop sodas, Coke products and juice boxes. And a great selection of sparkling and still water. Very soon they will be adding in even more goodies…smoothies, açaí bowls, paninis and more!

You can pick up a complimentary treat for your dog when you place your order at the counter, and your pup can enjoy that treat, as well as some fresh water, on the back deck.

The interior aesthetic is gorgeous, with wood floors, ambrosia maple tables and chairs of the softest green or gold velvet.

The only thing brighter than the great lighting throughout the cafe are the smiles that the staff greets you with. Their warmth is felt the moment you walk in and you can feel that they are putting their full heart into their mission.

Oh! And if you’re a Sunergos fan, they use their beans for all of their in-house coffee drinks and offer bags of Sunegos beans for home brewing.

Or you can select their specialty Grounds for Hope coffee beans that are a collaboration with one of my all time favorite local coffee masters, Leo Fante and Fante’s Coffee Shop.

They will even grind your choice for your preferred home brewing method!
