I visited Anderson Township Pub for the first time with a friend who has gone before. I got a simple cheese burger. The meat was excellent but the bun fell apart making it very sloppy to eat. The menu said they get their buns from Servantii's. I think next time, I'll get the burger without a bun - an option also on the menu. Original review above is 2 years old. Additon February 16, 2020: I decided to edit my review and drop the star rating because though for the past 2 years of wonderful experiences, we had a poor experience yesterday. We arrived with 3 people at 6:30pm, were seated and our orders were effectively taken as usual. We patiently waited expecting the usual good service. That didn't happen. After waiting 45 minutes we asked what was taking so long and were informed there were a lot of to-go orders. 10 minutes later, after other tables were served, we told our server we needed to leave for a ticketed event next door starting soon. Our food arrived soon after and we ate quickly. Our server offered to do our bills to make it faster. She was pleasant but once she saw my 10% tip and read the note I wrote to the management under my credit signature that an hour wait for our food was unacceptable, she stopped me on my way out to scold me. She said there was a sign on the wall that this is not a fast food place and I should not punish her for the decisions of the kitchen. I told her an hour was unacceptable and to tell her manager that we are very unhappy. I did not expect service like a fast food place, but seated guests need to be served before take-out. I will likely not return and tell anyone who will listen how poorly ATP treats their longtime, loyal patrons. If you are not a "fast food" place, then why did you work so fast to get orders out to-go while seated guests were left hungry and...
Read moreWe stopped here on a Sunday night after an afternoon Red's game. It looked pretty crowded, but we decided to go ahead and check it out. There was a band playing outside, but one of our party wanted to stay and eat inside so that is what we did. A sign said to seat ourselves so we did.
Once settled, a server appeared and had our drinks to us instantly. She then gave us time to review the menu before taking our order. The food, sandwiches and sides, were prepared to order. Everything was hot and delicious. My brother's burger that he ordered "Rare" was actually "Medium Rare", but in today's world it is darn near impossible to get anything cooked "Rare" unless you do it yourself, (lawsuits and all). Our server checked on us regularly and refilled our drinks when needed.
The Pub has a good atmosphere and we were able to talk about the game and enjoy our meal at the same time. All in our party enjoyed what we ordered, even the "Rare" guy. Our server told us about the upcoming Burger Week special, an "Elly Burger", since I happened to be wearing an Elly jersey. It sounded pretty good, so we will probably be back...
Read moreI am not sure how you are supposed to gain new customers when you deliberately make them feel like they are second rate.
We arrived to a full building and waited to put our name on the list. We were told we are the first on the list, so as soon as something opens, we will be sat. We noticed a table opening and getting cleaned (as you can see all the seating in the building from the front door).
At that time, the people who came in after us, and put their name on the list behind us (as witnessed by myself), left through the front door (we thought they got tired of waiting) and five minutes later walked through the back door and were sat at the only available table. It all came off as sneaky. When we asked what happened, we were shrugged off.
I understand taking care of your regulars (if this were the case), but they only had to wait for one table ahead of them. To do something so blatant in front of new costumers who hope to frequent your business in the future is not a good look.
Probably...
