7/15/23 Gave them another chance today. We had this Cincinnati Burger Week entry yesterday and it did not look anything like the photo. We were planning on splitting it but our server warned us that it was only 3 oz of meat so we ordered 2 of them. No pickle and not chips as in the photo. It was larger than a White Castle but smaller than a McD's value meal burger. The bun was bigger than the content so you could not see what was in it from the side as in the photo. It must be a "Micro Burger." Later I looked thru other Burger Week listings and repeatedly saw burgers in the 4 oz., 6 oz., and 8 oz. sizes that looked much better. At those places you were given a lot for your money and I think that's the idea of BW. Belterra missed the opportunity to introduce new potentially repeat diners to their place because they thought they were really competing in "Cheap Burger Week." This place is a great facility but needs new leadership to make better decisions as their star ratings indicate.
7/9/23 2 stars is being nice. 1PM lunch for 2 at Stadium Sports Bar. Nobody at the hostess stand to seat us so we took a table in the bar area. We must have ruffled some ones feathers because a rude bus boy came over and "dumped" menus and silverware in front of us without saying anything, FYI: The place was not 33% filled. After 10 minutes a server arrived and took our drink and food order. We usually split a Reuben and fries which comes nicely displayed on a stainless pedestal. Not today. Just 2 half sandwiches dumped on 2 plates with a pickle rolling around and the corned beef is now the "chewy variety." We wanted more dressing but no server attention until we were done with our meal.
Ordered a beer when food was delivered but the beer sat on the bar counter for over 10 minutes. Our server was pleasant but not at all on top of servicing our table.
So sad to see such a nice place go down hill so badly. Hope...
Read moreWe have been enjoying visits to the Stadium for several years until this past Friday night. They were busy and we understood there would be a wait but.....after we were seated and our order was taken, it was more than an hour before we received our food. People who were seated after us received their food long before we did. We asked three times to speak to the manger in a 30 minute period. Finally, a waitress came to our table and said that the manager had been told that we requested to speak to him and he told her to handle it because he was too busy to speak to us. I asked for the manager's name and she asked me "why?". I told her that I was going to write a review on him. BOOM!! A minute later he appeared at our table with a very arrogant attitude. He said he was busy and he assumed that we were OK. I told him that it was not his job to assume we were OK but it was his job to give good customer service. When I told him that he could have avoided this situation by taking 5 minutes of his time 30 minutes ago but he chose to ignore us and this only escalated the situation. He then told me that I knew nothing of working with people and stormed away from our table. We were not even offered a discount on our bill. This was a very unpleasant experience. This manager's name was Woody and he has no business being a restaurant manager representing a very...
Read moreCome here monthly with 8-12 senior ladies to eat in Stadium Restaurant and then play dominoes. These ladies order off regular menu so checks avg. $15 - $19 per person if desert is also ordered. For the "umpteenth" time, once food is delivered, there was no followup from wait staff until checks were delivered, then once the bills were paid, our group was completely ignored (despite being seated right by the kitchen). This has happened multiple times, and I called out the manager on this several months ago when the waitresses stood with thier backs to our tables in an otherwise empty restaurant and ignored our attempts to get refills and desert. Manger apologized, provided deserts and promised retraining of staff. Well, that didn't take. My ladies are active senior citizens who play here because one of group is handicapped and travel is difficult but she lives close by. Unfortunately this is the only place in the area where they can eat then play dominoes that can accommodate her wheelchair. We've been here for 3 1/2 hours and it's been 90 minutes since Wait staff has been by, even with an uncollected check folder still on the table. I just wonder if the Stadium Restaurant's wait staff were older and/or more male; or if our group were younger and/or more male; whether these wonderful ladies would be treated more respectful and...
