Burger King — Restaurant in Anderson

Their BK APP has deals that are unbelievable but I can't get items advertised a lot of the times and there parking lot is so dark every night, which I know the manager intentionally does this-per employees, so to keep customers at bay believing probably closed. It's unsafe and I don't care for the cop-out at customer's expense. It's SHAME ON THEIR UPPER MANAGEMENT and DISTRICT MANAGEMENT FOR NOT DOING the OCCASIONAL RECON OR QUALITY CHECK ON ALL SHIFTS AND THEY KNOW IT'S GOING ON. When someone gets injured or attacked they'll care. They lack in all ways when it comes to personal and corporate responsibility, not a good corporate community citizen putting customers at risk to succeed in their acts of treachery on customers to be lazy and get out of work on time and make sure their shake machines are cleaned. One evening recently at 6:15 pm, supper hour, their drink machines were closed down for cleaning. What poor service and management is that? Does not one upper or corporate mgmnt person or compliance at HQ not recognize the lack of sales on certain items during day parts consistently or the fact every establishment around them literally is lined around the building, sometimes 2x around their bldgs every single night, with not one customer in the "KINGS" drive thru in the evening. GIVE ME A BREAK! APD should maybe "gently" give them "community safety advise" that they are leaving their parking lot at a dangerously low level of security for their community of citizens when zero lights are on in the parking lot and no dining room lighting bc it's closed. Just my thoughts. I forgot to rate the food, usually luke warm, 50% is the time other 50% it may be hot but usually an item is missing and onion rings are always cold to almost cold. I'd give the zesty sauce up front to mask the "old grease" taste of cold rings, same with ketchup for the fries. The "King" won't stay open much longer at the Broadway location and I seriously wished the ANDERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT would TAKE NOTE of the"KINGS" ATTEMPTS TO LOOK CLOSED-but PLACING FOLKS AT RISK WHEN THEY ARE STILL INVITING CUSTOMERS THERE IN THE PITCH DARK with the fact that THEY ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Just close if that's the message you want us to get. It's loud and clear! This has been several yrs this complete darkness of their lot has been taking place, just this last yr had I noticed it so early though. On all sides, minus the drive thru pick up one, it's so pitch DARK due to nothing lit on any of them sides. It's kind of rural and they are isolated from any other business to help light their lot. McDonald's and the Chinese place (amazing place) assist to a degree, with the pick up side...

EVERY SINGLE TIME i visit this burgerking , my nuggets are ALWAYS COLD ! One time i literally exchanged my nuggets THREE DIFFERENT TIMES BECAUSE THEY WERE COLD ! AND TODAY ONCE AGAIN i get a 10 piece and a fry FOR MY TWO 1 YEAR OLD BABYS before going to the park and their fries were so cold one bite and they BOTH said YUCK . and the nuggets as well werent hot , as usual . I called as soon as we got parked and they said theyd replace the order . I get there about 3 hours later when we were done . And of course these kids were wpre out , HUNGRY , AND BURNING UP IN THE CAR WHILE FREAKING OUT AND CRYING. And i asked if there was anyway i could possibly get an ice cream for the kids to cool down and calm down . And i GOT AN ATTITUDE from the manager named GERALD and said he couldnt do that . How is it right that you serve me cold food and my BABYS GO HUNGRY AND I WASTE MY GAS TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK THERE , And couldnt even get a DOLLAR icecream . Ive worked at the mcdonalds next door for a year and we ALWAYS made things RIGHT WITH OUR CUSTOMERS !! So of course after the attitude and refusal of service I asked for corporates number and WAS REFUSED BY gerald( A ASSISTANT MANAGER) . AND HE REALLY TOLD ME he could give me the number to THEIR STORE !?!?!? So i told him no i would luke the number to corporate and he said he didnt have the number and gave me the number to his boss waseem . and said id have to call tomorrow . but tomorrows sunday ?? I dont care if my kids are starving and its the closest place . ill NEVER visit the burgerking on...

The employees here are wonderful. They are the first location to inform me that there is a veggie burger option at BK. I don't eat red meat hardly ever and I am no longer impressed with their chicken options, but the veggie burger was fantastic and I have been getting it ever since. The manage even came out to make sure I was liking it and offered something else to replace it if I didn't. The staff will joke around with my goofy roommates are with me. Lighthearted and easy going staff makes this location worth the stop for a quick bite. I can't say the same for other locations in town, but this one is great.

BK as a company has gone downhill a bit for a while. For instance, their fries use to be my second favorite fries and I can no longer order them because they are just terrible now. The onion rings are still good and so I get those instead. I love their coke machine with the millions of...
