what a fantastic place! we were in the area for the eclipse and we went here most days. not only is the coffee great and there's tons of flavors available to mix in, but it's great value (less than $15 for three medium/large lattes with flavorings and such)! and on the morning of the eclipse, we misremembered whether they were opening early and showed up before they even opened because we were trying to make sure we got out early enough to secure a spot in Makanda, and we were invited in despite this so we could have the caffeine we needed to get thru the day without collapsing! 🙌🙌 our literal hero! we were so grateful and amazed! we may not be from the area but it really feels like a real community staple and space. everyone was so friendly and kind and every drink we got was great, including the tuxedo, the nutty Irishman (I think that was the name haha), the mocha, and a latte that we added lavender and rose to. definitely recommend this spot and will be returning the next time...

This establishment might be the best food-serving place in Anna aesthetically speaking. The wait-time was a little much for two coffees, but the interior design didn't make it feel uncomfortable to be waiting for long. Their seating is wonderful. The woman behind the counter who took and made my order was very nice, as I had never been there before and was overwhelmed by the menu. She was patient, upbeat but chill, and treated me as a human instead of a customer. It's also reasonably priced and the amount you get for what you pay is fair. The coffee itself is a little strong, which is just up for preference. If you like strong coffee, come here. If you like many different...
Read moreI love Kiki's! The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and often remember my order to the point of getting out the type of milk I like when I order a plain coffee (although they have such a great variety of cool drinks that I often order one of those!). Their baked goods come from somewhere in Carbondale and are fantastic. The coffee is from a company that roasts it locally. The Internet connection is fast and the music is always good; I would definitely recommend Kiki's as a study or hangout...
