Another level of bland! $80 for 4 awful burgers, that weren't seasoned at all. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all, ever, and it's extra sad when you know you could cook something better in 5 mins. Extremely overpriced food, they literally charged us $20 dollars for 4 sodas in bottles, with no table service. They serve the same food, but worse. Flavorless over cooked garbage. Would recommend anyone try a nearby food truck called The Worster House. Much better food, at half the price. We felt completely ripped off by this restaurant. Frozen, gross burgers you can barely eat because they put the toppings on the bottom of the burger, so everything slides everywhere and turns into a distgusting mess no one wants to finish or try to reassemble. What's for Lunch? Well today I am at The Kennebec Cafe located on 20 Main St. in Anson, ME 04911. Been meaning to come here and with the extended holiday weekend, did. What grabbed my attention was the Chicken Club Burger & Fries. Before my order was ready, I got to view the food others ordered. Holy moly the portions and food presentation 5 stars. The Chicken Burger was well balanced, moist crispy chicken and as a whole full of flavor! Cozy limited seating inside with a good sized clean bathroom. Just tried for the first time tonight. Picked up in the restaurant for take out. Great location, ample parking, very clean, cozy interior. Super friendly service - food was great, hot & ready on time. Food was FANTASTICALLY DELICIOUS!! I had the weekly special - steak bomb flat bread, that was loaded w/toppings & cooked to perfection - so delicious I ate the 14” flatbread that was hefty enough for 2 people- all by myself! I couldn’t stop… that left only room for a few bites of the creamy & delectable haddock chowder, and about 1/3 of the very large garden salad w/house made croutons that put it over the top.
