Whistle Stop — Restaurant in Ansonia

I liked everything about this very colorful eatery. The service was fantastic with all the workers friendly and attentive and interactive. There is even an autonomous robot that delivers the food! Very unique. The interior is decorated with memorabilia related to the railroad industry and the local history and it's all very cool. The food was also delicious. I only ate here two days in a row and didn't get much more adventurous beyond burgers and pizza but it was all great with wonderfully low prices which is much appreciated in this economy. I also had their apple dumplings and ice cream which was FANTASIC! They also allowed me to park my semi truck in their side lot for two days and nights. So thank you so much for that. Stopped in for breakfast Sunday at 9:20 AM, waitress waited on us immediately brought our drinks quickly and then we waited until 10:24 for our meals to be brought out, some warm, some cold we didn't order anything special just normal breakfast items. The waitress and another lady kept stopping and asking us how we were doing, at first we joked a little about it , but after 45 minutes the humor was lost. During all this we noticed the kitchen staff was back there laughing and yakking, I'm sure this is a fun place of an evening, but as a breakfast stop, we'll pass it by. This was our first time in here; stopped just because of the post on Facebook the Darke County tourism page made. Wasn't a super friendly atmosphere, but being a small town country family didn't bother us too much. My kiddos shared a dinner meal as there wasn't a kids menu. Robot went to the wrong table so had to get up to get our chips and salad; again not too big of a deal. The man working had a cold, which wouldn't be a big deal if he hadn't blown his nose and then proceed to give us our silverware.
