We recently visited a local Chinese restaurant, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together as a family. Unfortunately, the experience left us quite disappointed. We ordered the chicken and broccoli but when it arrived, it was far too salty for my mother to eat she’s diabetic so overly salty food can be a real health concern. We politely explained the situation to the owner and asked if it would be possible to replace the dish with something else rather than showing understanding or concern the owner became defensive and upset. She told us we would still have to pay for the original dish and also pay for a new one if we wanted something different we wasn’t expecting a free meal just a bit of empathy and flexibility, especially given the health concern. Sadly, the lack of customer service and unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request made the entire experience very unpleasant. we won’t be returning and we hope the restaurant takes feedback like this too heart to improve how they treat...
Read moreA bit overpriced. Wasn't offered a to go cup for coke still had plenty of. For a farming community real chicken and beef is a must. However I'M sure you'll do fine in Anthony. There's no competition. Just like Pizza Hut, they get 17 bucks for a large pizza. It's 6 bucks for that in Wichita. Anthony in general has prices like other tourists traps. Haven't found the attractions yet tho However. I'll be back. We like Chinese food and don't want to go to Wellington for just that. Glad you came to Anthony. Seen restaurants come and go in the time I've Been there. McDonald's that'd a hol nother story. Go there for drinks and still takes forever to get that sometimes. I'm not critical, neighbors agree. Wheat harvest is here, oil boom was. So places to eat will survive as long as they don't have to count on...
Read moreLove this place! Very friendly family run restaurant. Portions are not really big like the big chain places but I have only polished off my plate once. Everything is made to order! Not sitting under a heat lamp waiting for you to walk in. My go to is the Mongolian beef with extra sauce for the rice and my wife gets the jalapeño chicken. The General tso's chicken is also really good. I'll take this place over panda any day of the week.
They have now sold the place and the new owners are trying but not succeeding. Ordering now is extremely difficult. Even just telling them the number on their own menu leads to you receiving the wrong food. They food is just not the same in quality and flavor. I miss the way...
