Idle Hour — Restaurant in Anthony

My husband is working near Anthony so I came to visit in May. We ate lunch at Idle Hour and the chicken wrap was the best wrap I have ever ate. Usually they are dry but OMG this was so moist and delicious! Well, I am back and this Sunday is our 24 year anniversary. We are heading to Idle this Saturday for their famous steak dinner and to celebrate.

The folks who were working, last time, were awesome! Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we came back for dessert after our motorcycle ride that day.

Stopped in for supper had the nacho cheese & chips. It was loaded with vegetables and meat cheese and chips with a coke. My niece had a cheese dip platter with some sancho type thing and a diet coke. Next time im ordering the house hamburger dinner because i seen someone else had it and it looked delicious. They had some comedians last month and live music on the weekends or on special dates. We had a party of 15, and were seated in the back room where we had ample space to visit. We had access to electronic darts and shuffleboard. Food and drinks were amazing! Started with appetizers. They have a create your own sample platter. Fried pickles were my favorite! It was steak night, and everyone enjoyed their steaks and chicken fried steak.
