I was extremely dissatisfied with my lunch there recently. THE PEOPLE: I received service with NO smile. Maybe they were just having a bad day so I'll give them that. THE PRICES and PRODUCT: The Greek Salad was the worst I've ever had with no love put into this menu item whatsoever. For the price, there were only 4 kalamata olives (including pits!) and no vinaigrette dressing in the salad which is typical for this type of salad. They served Tzatziki sauce with it? This is great for a gyro but not a Greek Salad. THE PRESENTATION: It was awful for two reasons. First, it was served on a plastic food tray, with holes on the side, on top of deli paper (I've never seen a salad served this way before). When I cut it up, because the pieces were really large, the paper got all torn up and mixed in with my salad (cuz it's paper and gets soggy when dressing gets all over it). I had to fish out pieces of paper while I ate it. Secondly, I really hope the tray was clean and sanitized because that became my plate and was very undesirable to me. I probably won't be going back but I hope others have a better experience. We used to run a restaurant and I would definitely want to know if my customer had an experience like this so I hope they will improve. Nobody can score a perfect 10 always so I wish them well. To end on a positive note, I went up to get a "to go" container for my salad and I didn't even have to ask the cook for one because he handed me one when I went up to the counter! He knew what I wanted without...
Read moreOrdered a hot dog, it was the absolute worst, old and lowest quality dogs I ever had in my life. And the vegetable toppings were very old and crummy. Ordered a fry, the Fry's had been laying around from a previous batch then fried again, and I was lucky to get 10 what they call Fry's for $3.50 ONE HELL OF A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Not only that, the place was dirty and the old man behind the counter needs to adjust his attitude and realize he's in the customer service business. I won't be seeing Mr G's any time soon. If I could give less than 1 Star I absolutely would.
I Graduated from CIA in New York in 1983 was a professional Chef at several 5 Star Hotels and freestanding High end restaurants then went into Director of business Dinning. a couple of things I can assure you in regards to this business, customer Service, Quality of Food, Clean operation, fare prices and a whole lot of communication with Marketing and Keeping Your Prices up to date threw the Internet. Your bread and Butter is your CUSTOMER! THEY DONT GET THAT! at this place Called mr g. unfortunately what they are doing is BUYING VERY POOR QUALITY FOOD, SERVING VERY SMALL PORTIONS AND SELLING IT AT A VERY HIGH PRICE ITS A VERY LOW QUALITY, BAD, DIRTY AND UNPLEASANT PLACE TO VISIT AND THE OLD MAN/OWNER NEEDS TO BE SLAPPED! for TREATING HIS CUSTERMORS THE WAY HE DOES.
If i were you folks, go elsewhere! Thanks for your...
Read moreFood is pretty good, the Italian beefs have improved over the years. The gyros are good for the price, a little on the dry side. I think they used to bigger, if I remember correctly. I like that they put the sauce on the side but I wish it came with more. I love the breaded mushrooms and the fries are good, crinkle cut. Wish the gyros and Italian beefs came with fries but can't have everything. The pizza puffs are great and my husband loves the farm steak sandwich. Onion rings are just store bought frozen then deep fried, nothing spectacular. Their burgers are tasty and cheap. Food is nicely priced, can't go wrong here for a cheap, quick meal. Or if you need your Italian beef fix and dont want to spend $9 on a mediocre sandwich (looking at you Rosati's). The gyro salad is soooo good, but I didn't care for their Cajun Chicken Pita. Also, they have good chocolate shakes.
Service tends to be pleasant and they're very fast. Sometimes they are really friendly but one time I placed an order over the phone at 8:50 on a Friday and was told to arrive within 10 minutes but I think they forgot that they're open until 10 on Fridays 🤷♀️ (Don't worry, I'm not a monster)
I wish they would post a menu online, the only one I can find is on Foursquare and the prices...
