This place was awful. I haven't had a dining experience like this in a while. My daughter ordered the French toast and it was absolutely disgusting. My daughter made it two bites and she just couldnt eat it. It was dipped in the egg batter on one side and cooked like that so it was like eating texas toast style bread. Just absolutely dry in the middle. The biscuits and gravy tasted like plastic, my daughter literally had to spit in her napkin. The omelet was decent but incredibly runny. The only thing that was great was the homestyle fries. I politely let the waitress about the French toast and that it was very dry, she got extremely rude and picked it up and just stared at us. I said we'd take some regular toast instead. When I got the bill, the French toast had not been removed. I inquired and the waitress told me the owner had refused to remove it. I asked the waitress then if they are refusing to remove it I'd like a replacement as the French toast had barely been touched. The waitress said no. I said well if the owner was going to refuse, she could have come out and said that so we could have resolved it. She put her finger up as in telling me one moment... went in the back... came back and said the owner was busy and I could wait. I said no thanks and paid the bill. I haven't experienced that in years. And it would make sense had my daughter ate most of it, but it was barely touched. And we ordered a lot, that clearly you could see we weren't trying to get a free meal. Our bad for deviating from our usual spots. Just avoid this place. There are so many wonderful places nearby like Toast Gio or Hackers Grill that are absolutely stellar and have amazing...
Read moreWaitress is unfriendly. Asked about drinks like coffee or soda, and said they only serve alcohol. Mind you, that this was at 10:40 am. Turns out, they do serve coffee and soda. We left promptly after her unwelcoming attitude!
Edit in response to owner: It seems your waitress misinterpreted our request. We requested if could have soft-drinks/coffee "TO-GO" as in, a Coke or Sprite in a can or cup. We never wanted alcohol, if anything, she mentioned that first to us. Additionally, we never brought in outside drinks into the establishment. The issue isn't her denying our request that this complaint is about, it's her demor regarding...
Read moreFirst and last time here. Walked in Saturday morning, only 3 customers so they weren’t busy at all. No one said hi or welcome. Lady behind the bar didn’t even smile, just said “sit wherever you want.” Waitress was young, probably daughter. Very shy, no introductions. I ordered ribeye medium rare with eggs over medium. Steak was grey, no seer, no flavor. Eggs were over easy, barely. Toast was good but only one packet of jelly out of 8-9 were hard and inedible. My husband’s biscuit and gravy was tasty but cold. They forgot his eggs. Just a rude bunch....
