This is a true hole-in-the-wall type. It's literally setup in an alcove of a shell gas station!

My family in Texas always says the best tacos come from gas stations, and it holds true in Minnesota.

Tacos, Burritos, Nachos, Sopes, Quesadillas.. it's all great and a good value for the money. With your choice of meat, your can't go wrong.

The Pastor is my favorite. It makes a great taco or burrito. With pineapple, it has a nice, slightly sweet flavor with a nice red color. The carnitas is delicious and juicy. (who can say no to pork cooked in a vat of pork fat?) It's a good staple for quesadilla or taco. The Asada is cut small and tender and a perfect match for their nachos. The chicken tinga has a nice juicy flavor and goes well with the added sauces provided (green and red.)

The torta sandwiches are solid and my choice more often than not when I come here, The Milanesa Res (breaded steak) in particular.

The tamales are authentic. The pork is my favorite, and it must be everyone else's as well since he has been sold out most times I have checked.

All in all, this place a great neighborhood hole-in-the-wall and I am now super hungry after writing...

This is the best Mexican food South of the river, maybe even the whole metro area. I actually hesitated to write this review because this place is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and is our local little secret we kind of want to keep to ourselves! But food this good has got to be shared, so come one, come all for a real treat. The guy will actually cook your food right in front of you so you know what's going in it. And don't even get me started on the beans. Best beans north of Kansas City, very, very authentic. Everything is fresh, homemade.. they even pickle their own peppers. Amazing. All for a decent price. This guy cooks up some really tasty food. I had his burrito with everything on it. Some of the best I've had in a while. Came back 3 times in one week. His sauces are also very good.
