If you are looking for a healthy & genuinely tasty meal this place is worth it.
Letās dive in, the āhomebrewā snap wrap is arguably one of the best wraps in the Fox. It has the right flavor, properly complimented with each ingredient. It is one of the best first bites I have had in a while. It even has a satisfying crunch as well.
The staff was friendly and held some positive manner to them as well which made the experience that much more enjoyable.
However, letās begin the improvement section: While this is a smaller establishment, there should be a more visual menu. While I am not vision impaired or such, I can see others having a hard time looking at the menu.
The size per price is okay, however there could be an option that offers a slightly larger wrap as I noticed that I was still hungry after the first one, but not enough so to finish an entire second wrap, so maybe a half wrap worth of ingredients placed into the original for an extra $1?
My colleagues and I all got separate items which allowed for slight testing of flavors, and the most dissatisfied option we ordered was the grilled cheese. The name, presentation, and overall hype around it seemed great until we bit into it and the flavor of mustard just ruined the entire experience. When visually looking at it, it did not even appear to have cheese, just mustard.
While that was just one disappointment, we cannot feel right in dropping a negative review about a grilled cheese sandwich as everything else from this establishment was well over satisfactory.
Only suggestion would be to make that more apparent about the flavor of the grilled cheese is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been getting food from Snaps for several years. The quality and consistency is top notch. The owner takes pride in serving fresh food that is fast and healthy. They recently were forced to relocate from their drive through kiosk in Appleton due to circumstances beyond their control. In an amazing turn of events they are now located in a sit-down cafe style venue which is part of the medical complex located at the corner of Ballard Rd & I-41. Take my adviceā¦.drive on over, go round the OSI building, past the Recovery Inn (follow the clearly marked placement of signs in the parking lot) and order anything off of the menu. Wraps, soups, sidesā¦.It will be delicious and you will feel great by eating something nutritious and satisfying. I had the chicken Caesar wrap. I have tried most of the wraps over the years and itās always a tough choice because they are all good. I came during a lull in the rush and the owner had a few minutes to chat with me about the big changes and this great new location. She and her team are dedicated to providing excellent quality food and a really enjoyable dining experience. This location is a new chapter for this cool locally owned business and I am so happy to see them thriving and getting this great food in the hands of more people than ever. Look for their products at a growing list of locations throughout the fox valley. And be sure to try her grandmaās homemade peanut butter chocolate flourless cookies! Geezā¦.just when you think it canāt get any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have great ingredients, serving sizes, speed, and pricing. I feel great after eating here. However, I've gone 3 times, and the wraps have had uneven distribution of ingredients and uneven balance of fats/acids.
The salmon panini had a good cut of meat, but the horseradish and Dijon were slightly overpowering vs. The fat ratio of the smoked salmon. More mayonnaise and lettuce and it would be have been perfect.
The regular snaps wrap was okay, but it could have used more cheese and less Ruffage. It was basically a salad with some chicken on top with low fat ranch. Not your typical wrap. It also had all the chicken on one side if you know what I mean.
The steak wrap I had was really bad. It was so drenched in steak sauce, it was like biting into a vinegar explosion. Since it also had bell peppers, it was even more acidic. It had provolone cheese on it, but all you could taste is steak sauce. It was maybe the worst wrap I've ever had haha. The steak seemed fine though, but that didn't matter.
Conclusion: healthy wraps, great Ingredients, but construction and balance of flavors need work. The most important part is the...
