The location couldn't be more amazing. The restaurant is located at the 18th hole with sweeping views of the golf course. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly smiles and as it wasn't busy we got to select where we wanted to sit. I ordered a very tasty cucumber, drink, well mixed and was quite refreshing after being out on the course. The French Onion soup was beautifully presented as shown in my pictures. However, it lacks the complexity I was expecting from a traditionally made french onion soup. It was not terrible but I would not order it again. The timing for bringing out our main dish was perfect. We had just finished enjoying our soups. I ordered the shrimp Po' Boy with sweet potato fries. It came with plenty of shrimp and the bang bang sauce was quite tasty. I was, however, disappointed with the vegetables that were served. We are in the midst of peak vegetable season yet the tomatoes were a light pink color with very little flavor and the lettuce was also quite bland. Finally, the bun it was served on was soft, but it was not a particularly flavorful piece of bread. It did not drown out the full flavor of the the shrimp and bang bang sauce. All in all, the atmosphere and service were exceptional. Unfortunately, I might decide to explore other options as the food was not as exceptional.
