Dove House Tea Room — Restaurant in Arcadia

This place is no longer called 'Dove House' ...it's now Manor West Tea Room. I was there for a birthday party for my aunt who turned 83...WHAT FUN!!! If I could give it ten stars, I would! The place was decorated so beautifully, with layers of table linens and lots of different china and silverware and antique serving pieces. Our hostess served our ladies' group chicken salad on greens, various beautiful fresh fruits, a corn chowder (served in a beautiful teacup), and a scrumptious fresh blueberry crunch with ice cream in delightful antique dessert dishes!! I found this place on google, my husband and I decided to stay here because it was just this beautiful bed and breakfast type place. The house is filled with gorgeous architecture and antique furniture/decor. The house is very old and creaky which I love! It was very very clean and feels like you’re staying in a home of a family member. This place has everything you need, the kitchen is fully stocked and huge. A place to wash your clothes in the back of the house. Bonnie was absolutely so kind and wonderful, she made us an amazing breakfast and it was so nice to just talk to her and hang out with her. My husband and I visited Arcadia over the July 4th weekend. Our family stays right down the street from the Dove House and recommend our stay. Mrs. Bonnie feed our bellies and our souls! I cannot remember the last time I stayed somewhere so peaceful and restful. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. The entire place is so clean including our rooms. There is plenty of room to sit out and read. The bed was comfortable and our host was definitely the highlight of our stay. Mrs. Bonnie is so caring and warm. I feel like she is family now.
