No longer has our business. Everyone check your order before you leave this etablishment. If it’s wrong, it’s your fault not theirs. We order vanilla cupcakes and received banana nut. The owner was super rude when called to let her know what happened, and I admit my husband was fired up when he called because he was also treated rudely ( by the owner) at pick up. Our cake was wrong too, but hey whatever it was good! But giving us banana nut vs vanilla cupcakes and then saying it’s our fault, not cool.
Update: None of what the owner wrote below is true. It’s actually laughable that she responded this way. We have pictures of everything, and none of our order, other then the chocolate cupcakes was correct. While apologizing to our guests, and also explaining the first interaction, they stated they wanted to warn us about going to Donna’s place, that they all stopped bc she is rude. Upon reading the very few negative reviews you have here, I was expecting this response. I listened to you and my husbands conversation and you started in on him, first and I told him to knock off his attitude several times. He was frustrated and upset and handled his emotions incorrectly and I have said that but, you did in fact charge us for several products we did not actually receive. And ok, forget the whole nut thing… it wasn’t what we ordered. In your conversation earlier you said that it was vanilla bc your menu doesn’t say “cinnamon cake”, but now it was cinnamon cake? Even though I have 10 people who clearly knew it wasn’t when they ate it. This isn’t the way I have spoken to you and as a business owner I am embarrassed for you talking to me this way and about my husband. I truly hope that you change, truly, bc I am soo sad I can no longer enjoy your cinnamon rolls and cheesecakes. I would never take advantage of a small business, and I told you that by taking down the Facebook review. My husdand was not speaking to you in any fashion that was sooo bad you need to put “let alone a woman”. That is a horrible light to cast on a disgruntled customer, and just is not true. Slander really. Honestly there is so much more I could say, in relation to this event and others, since we have ordered from you for every Holiday we have hosted in recent times, we even gifted cinnamon rolls to family members for Christmas, bc we love them and wanted to support your business. I believe your response is just a tactic to bully us into taking down the review. You are an excellent baker, but you really have a bad attitude when confronted with your downfalls, apparently, read the other negative reviews.
Update: that’s what we ordered ma’am, and that’s not what we got, we received a vanilla cake with a cannoli filling layer. Lol I didn’t blame you for anything other then not giving us what we ordered. And...
Read moreCute vibe but that's about it. The menu was white on light pink and I found I couldn't read it at all so I just went to the case. My son and I ordered 3 pastries, a small drip coffee and a chocolate milk. They made the chocolate milk quickly but 20 min later, we didn't have the pastries or coffee. My daughter was with us with friends and they waited about 30 min for 2 coffee flights. When we asked about the pastries the woman gaslighted us and said "I'm sure they are coming out". Then she had to go ask someone else before bringing them out. Still no coffee.... After they brought out the flight, I asked about my small drip coffee. I could see the cups and see the pot but no one gave me one. Again, that gaslight answer of "oh, they are bringing it out". The issue is that I was made to feel like I was a pain in the rear for asking for what I had already paid for. Then the coffee finally came out after nearly 30 min and it was more cream than coffee and also had sugar...I didn't order either. When the second coffee flight was delivered, the young woman was very nice, apologizing and thanking for patience etc. The older woman however, just blamed the customer making us feel like we were a problem when it was clearly a service problem. It's such a cute and comfy space — the kind of place you just want to sit and stay awhile…especially since there are so many gorgeous baked goods and beverages to choose from. This team of young ladies worked hard to beautifully display their amazing selection of scones, tarts, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cannoli, cheesecakes, and more! It's clear the team puts a lot of thought and effort into offering a variety of fresh, delicious options — everything looked fantastic, and what I tried tasted even better! The young ladies working there were so welcoming and polite and worked well together even though it was consistently busy. You can tell they really care about providing great service. They made sure everything was as ordered and followed up to ensure everything met our expectations. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude really added to the overall experience.
