Zax Bakeshop is a fabulous addition to the area. I’ve been meaning to stop by for awhile now. Today I finally had the opportunity to do just that. As soon as you walk into the store, you can immediately tell that the pastries and breads were made with passion and attention to the smallest detail. The pastries and breads not only look amazing and beautiful but their taste is outstanding. The macarons taste as good as they look. Les petits gâteaux are pure perfection. I sometimes stop in when I leave work to get lunch. I have had almost everything at least once, except for the cookies and have never been disappointed. I especially love the macarons. They are always perfect. The one negative review is from someone who seems to enjoy giving negative reviews, as clicking on his name reveals he has never given a positive review, which is a shame. Cutest bakeshop Archbald has to offer. The owner is really nice and the display case was full and ready to go with all types of treats sweet and savory goods. Pretzels, cookies, baguettes, loaves of bread, macarons of all colors, fruit tarts, there was truly so much to choose from. Between the smell of the bakery and that first bite of the buttery croissant, I was transported back to Europe.
