Usually when I stop at any Sonic anywhere I never put any expectation with the food I order. Let me add that getting below average menu items has become the "norm" with the entire chain of stores. Get under salted fries (after ordering rather tots) that are cold - meh I figured as much- dried meat made incorrectly on a hard bun- not surprising it happens 3 out of 4 visits- and let's not over look the drinks being handed a sticky cup because it was overfilled by whoever is working the fountain station with the lid that wasn't secured, baaaaaarely avoiding your lap wearing it- it'd be a shock if this failed to occur....... That being said while visiting the Sonic On Commerce in Ardmore my order was taken very quickly by a polite and friendly young Man- that's surprise #1. My order was brought out in what seemed like no time at all be a nice young lady. spoiler alert my tator tots weren't cold unsalted fries... I mean I reach into that brown paper bag and my hand comes out holding not only real tator tots, but they are hot, fresh, golden brown, perfectly crispy tatter tots. I think I giggled like a school girl getting asked out to the prom by the guy that is my biggest crush 😍. - That's Surprise #2 My burger was made exactly the way I ordered it. Best part of all it was DARN good. Hot fresh, juicy meat patty. The bun was toasted perfectly and soft and fresh. By this point I'm on surprise overload 😳😜😂 Three great surprises. Read moreThe people here obviously don't like working here I was trying to order and the girl that was taking my order kept rushing me through the order and I said my item and she tried telling me to go to the window and she'll give me my prize I said I'm not done and I went on to tell her the next item she proceeded again to rush me tell me the price to the window I told her I'm not done she's not asking are you done yet or anything like that she's just trying to rush me as clear as she doesn't want to take the order so I pull around to the window cuz she rushed me off and want to answer after that and this flamboyant; at the drive-thru window I asked to speak to the manager they asked me what for which was none of their business if I asked to speak to the manager I should be able to speak to the manager so I proceeded to say that I was not done and she rushed me off my order and I like to add more items please he proceeded put his hand up like in the stop gesture I told me well you're just going to have to wait a minute I said I'm a customer whose order was not taken correctly I'm not feeling valued and I'm trying to add more food so all the food is done at the same time and you're telling me to wait a minute he goes you can go...
Read moreFrom the very start when the girl on the other end of the speaker sounded annoyed that she was even there I knew I should have left but I gave her the order anyway. The car hop brought out our food acting as annoyed. And guess what the hamburgers were totally cold, the tater tots hot but super salty, and the coke was flat. When I complained the high school girl who was playing the manager roll said oh we have a fresh batch but we have to use up the old stuff first. Yes she really did tell us that. After a bit of discussion she did refund our money after telling me she had to keep our receipt and could only show me the refund receipt because they can't print copies. I let her know I knew better, I kept my receipt and she did finally bring out the copy of the refund. Just what you want when you have two hours left of a 9 hour trip, a bunch of poor attitude kids ( btw they were also looking out at us and laughing about it until I called on the speaker to mention it to them that we could see them) to hassle you at Sonic when you just stopped for a quick bite to eat. These kids made Oklahoma, Ardmore ,Sonic and most of all themselves...
