Great place to eat, especially with the family. I can't skip Mofongo whenever it's on the menu and the Mofogon at El Fogón Cubano is as good as it gets, delicious! There is a good variety of appetizers, I went with Frijoles y Jamón and it was great, there are plenty of recommended appetizers that I will definitely try next time. Desserts can vary, I think. My family and I shared a Flan de queso and a brownie and you can tell that they are homemade. Loved every bit of this restaurant and I will be going back.

Had the black bean dip with crunchy ham. Also I had the peril al Caldero with congri and salad. Great flavors. I loved the coconut vinaigrette on my mesculin and cherry tomatoes salad. The pumpkin flan was homemade and delicious. Everything tasted fresh. Loved the fact they cad Puerto Rican craft beers. Service was outstanding. Speed of the food was perfect.

How good is this place ? as good as your grandparents recomended spot that becomes your tourist friends Puerto Rico highlight meal!.. We walked in on an early Friday afternoon with a group of 11, and the staff at el Fogon gave us excellent service , were super attentive and turned the experience for the tourist a memorable one. The food is distinctive "criolla", which sets itself apart from other restaurants with similar dishes. The "welcoming vibe" from the staff is a pleasant bonus to the great food and service at El Fogon Cubano... Luna...

One+ hour wait for take out. The atmosphere is very nice and tastefully decorated. Easy to find. Parking could be a challenge. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Very professional. The congri had clumps of white rice in it, pre-cooked rice. It did not taste fresh.. The ropa vieja had a sweet taste, as if they added sugar, too much sweetener for my taste. The yuca frita was delicious. $37 for a single serving of mofongo ropa vieja, yuca frita and congri. Quite...
