Log House Restaurant — Restaurant in Argos

Terrible service. Watched as 4 other tables were served and had finished eating before our food even arrived, even though we ordered our food before all of them. We finally asked if our order had been misplaced and not been turned in. We were told, "no, but they had a new cook that was behind". The cook wasn't behind in serving everyone that ordered after us though. We waited another 10 minutes and were getting ready to just leave when our waitress finally brought out our food. Most of it tasted okay, but was cold. I'm sure it had set back there ready while we watched the waitress just talking to other people, walking around, and doing stuff up where the register was located. The 1st time I visited this place, everything was great. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. After a month, I was traveling in the area and decided to visit it again. This time was a totally different experience. The waitress was incredibly aloof, and was not very accommodating. I had asked for an itemized check and she rolled her eyes at me. The food was a little less than stellar compared to the last time. The last time, they advised me they had several soups which is the reason I wanted to return. This review is solely on service. I was not given the chance to review the food because I didn't get any service from the moment I walked in the door. Walked in and the sign at the hostess stand stated to seat yourself so we did. After 10 minutes of sitting there and two servers walking by our table multiple times looking at us with open menus and empty coffee cups, not one word was said to us, like need some coffee or can we get you anything to eat.
