Had the worst experience for a carry out you can think of with service. Called in 7 hours ahead to place an order of 21 sandwiches/no bready bowls. The two phone kids had no idea how to take the order, and suggested I come in to make it easier, even though I’m 25 min away & it would’ve been 7 hours ahead to make two pit stops. It took over 40 min to order because the kids did not know anything on the menu or how to spell anything. At first one boy thought it would be smart to listen to me and then tell a girl what to write down so I told him just to give me her on the line… They didn’t know what the Artisan bread was for example. They had no idea of what the no bready bowl was or the different dressings or sauces.
The one kid wrote down everything in pen but apparently it ended up being way to sloppy for the next shift to understand. So every single order was completely wrong, mislabeled and didn’t have any labels. I had spelled out all the different names on the sandwiches for them but they did not get that. It took about 2 min to read off each order because they couldn’t write them down or remember what I had said.
Half of the orders I had asked for chips, cookies, & a drink but they decided to not pack or charge any of those 3 items. So they completely ignored all of those orders.
The first sandwich we pulled was weightless so we opened it up in front of the cashier and everyone saw that it was just cheese and lettuce on white bread.
One sandwich had nothing but bacon and jalapeño on it.
The two protein bowls that we received literally only had chicken pieces in it even though it was supposed to be a hot shot Italian protein bowls.
I had suggested to email the order and had done everything I could to make it simple and slow. Hence the 40 long minutes.
Extremely embarrassing and frustrating occurrence. Kids need to learn the menu.
4 items were labeled with this weird “chol.” Here you can see the plain chicken in a bowl and no lettuce...
Read moreI am traveling so I bought a bottled sweet tea and asked for a cup so I could have it on ice in the car. The woman would only give me a tiny water cup w no lid and refused to give me a bigger cup that I could fill w ice and put a lid on. I complained multiple times and finally i went back and asked if I could buy a cup. I asked her if I would be paying for the cup or the drink and she said just the cup. Well the cup was over $2 and I already bought a drink for more than that! She then said "the drink is free, the cup is expensive." After over 10 years in the food service industry myself, this is absurd. You give the customer a cup or you charge them .50 cents and call it a day. The lady is working now at the time of this post and she is short and older than the other two younger girls who were very nice but bewildered by this experience. Ultimately I returned my unopened bottled tea and went across the street to McDonald's for a...
Read moreYes I will absolutely drive 20 miles out of my way for Subway made by friendly yet competent individuals! This is despite the fact that I have a Subway within one and another less than 5 mi from my home. We have 10 people in our house and this was the first Subway to get all of our subs correct the first round. We are used to getting the wrong ingredients on each other's sandwiches or ingredients that weren't on anybody's sandwiches. We are used to not getting the extra ingredients that we pay for like avocado or double meat. We are used to severe lacking of the ability to read tickets from subway. The subway is different. I will continue to use this particular subway in Argos, Indiana and highly recommend...
