Chop House Grille — Restaurant in Argyle

My wife & I ate there 8/16. She got sick that night, & the next 2 days. I just picked thru the meal only eating the salad. We weren't impressed; & we won't be going back. I went back to read other reviews, & I don't know where they ate but it is NOT the same place that we ate at. The salad bar is tiny; compared to almost any other restaurant. We had the chicken, mashed potatoes, & corn. I could not figure out what pieces the chicken was. All pieces were round with the bones split inside. I will not recommend this to anyone; & I am not usually this dissatisfied with restaurants. I found nothing that would make me change my mind about ever returning to eat...

Driving home to STL from Jeff City on 50, we chose this place for lunch based only on its Google reviews (excellent) and menu prices (far less expensive than prices in STL!). What a find! Not only was our server hard working, very attentive and polite, the food was outstanding (I had a tasty salad with grilled salmon, followed by peanut butter chocolate pie--which was to die for). My family of 4 raved about their food choices. Incredibly tasty food, spic and span surroundings, very reasonable prices and attentive service all add up in my book to a 5 star rating for the Chop House Grille! Keep up the great work! My boyfriend is a truck driver we stopped to take his 30 min break stumbled upon this we have had food from everywhere it was good fresh the burgers are lean and juicy my boyfriend got the pulled pork nachos when I think pulled pork I think smoked it wasn't he loved it though and he also got the pulled pork sandwich and jalapeno coleslaw and it was fresh and really good homemade if I stop through again I would for sure stop here every place has a hit or miss menu but I wouldn't mind trying everything 1 thing I wish y'all had different BBQ sauce I like mine hot but the price is amazing for the portions you get and the server was super...
