Good Fellas Tavern — Restaurant in Argyle

Heard about this place from some other foodies and figured we'd drive the hour and a half to judge for ourselves. Upon arrival, I must admit I was taken aback at how small the establishment was, and the crowd seemed a little more rowdy than we expected at first, but it was all in good fun. We were promptly greeted by the waitress upon seating ourselves, and she was very helpful in helping us with our choices for dinner. The shaved prime rib sandwich was phenomenal, and the house chips were really good. We also had an appetizer of creamy cheese curds and would strongly recommend them to anyone who loves cheese curds. My only complaint would be that of the beer selection and how cold it was. Like the spotted cow, but I really like it off the tap better than the bottle. We stopped into Good Fellas Pub on our way home from a wrestling tournament with two very hungry kids. Even though it was just before the kitchen was closing, Hailey gladly took our order and made us feel so welcome. Once we arrived, she gave us the best service—we truly appreciated her kindness and attentiveness. The pizza was absolutely delicious and hit the spot after a long day. We’re so glad we found this place and will definitely be returning....

always good food here! drinks are also amazing.
