The Dell Steakhouse & Lounge — Restaurant in Argyle

Great food always. No liver pate avaiable on Saturday,June 15. Sad. Freezing temperature in the dining area!!!!! We spoke with a female employee and she did turn the air down and we felt some warmth for a short time. The male owner questioned the female why she changed the temperature. She explained we were complaining on how cold the area was and the direct draft on us. I am assuming he changed it back to the cooler air temperature, as it became very chilly again. Good grief, the outside temperature was 50 degrees, not sure we needed the air on. The male owner was concerned about a party of 8 that was due to arrive shortly and how much warmer it would be with the extra bodies in the room. When I return, I will be sure to be seated away from a ceiling vent. The male owner never came over to our table to inquire how our meal or anything else was, had he inquired we might have negotiated a temperature agreeable to...

I travel through Argyle periodically. The first time I ate at The Dell was just because it was a convenient location. Every time thereafter it was a planned destination. This is an unpretentious small town restaurant/bar. Very casual, very friendly, and very comfortable.

I am working my way through the lunch and dinner menus. The steaks have always been tender and properly done. I particularly like the fresh herbs on the sirloin. If the meal fills you up, as it does for me, it is worth it to take one of the deserts home with you.

Oh, by the way, they sell off-sale liquor too.

2nd year the wife and I went too The Dell for a car show there, great atmosphere, great food!

This year I ordered the Queen prime rib, wow it was huge, glad I didn't order the King! Fellow club member ordered the "pounder" cheeseburger, it was a mini skyscraper! LoL excellent food, owners are very nice, wait staff very polite, and attentive. Look forward to going back!

Who would of thought such a great restaurant in a little farming town.... Trust me if you want a great dining experience... A trip to The Dell is well...
