Big Jakes BBQ — Restaurant in Arizona

Literally the worst BBQ I have ever had. We went in around 8 pm after being at Nightfall for a couple hours. It was crowded, took absolutely forever for the staff to serve up cafeteria style BBQ that turned out to be a colossal waste of money. The cole slaw was underwhelming. The baked beans lacked almost any seasoning. The pulled pork was bland and the sauce on the side tasted sweet without any tang whatsoever. The burnt ends were the only part that tasted good. I am so disappointed that we spent $12 on such a poor meal. I understand that Nightfall on a Saturday is bound to be busy, but it should never take almost 30 minutes to serve up less than mediocre food from cafeteria style chafing dishes. Food was very good. The hamburger was well seasoned, the pulled pork was very tasty, coleslaw was fresh, the fries were great, and the mac and cheese was delicious and tasted homemade. However, the service was very slow. We waited a very long time to order, 30+ minutes and the line wasn't even that long. Once we ordered we waited at least 20 minutes to get our food.
