Kingman Airport Cafe — Restaurant in Arizona

I have been here twice now and both times we have had to stand waiting for A table for 10 mind. while the waitress walk around complaining about being backed up.Now I understand that this was on A Saturday and it can be busy but it wasn’t when we looked at A empty table ( that they ended up sitting us at after all )there was A couple who came in right behind us and they waited for only about three minutes we were skipped ( once again ) then when the waitress finally came to our table we said that we were leaving and she was like ok have A nice day like she didn’t care.I feel like since this place is small its who you know that gets you ahead.I am only giving food A 1 star as I didn’t even get to eat there.I will say if you want to check out some nostalgia planes and history this is A cool place.For food the first time it was food last time well you can read this for yourself.we then left went into town to Denny’s and was hreeted & seated in less than 1min..Btw they were packed as well.I will not be back and please don’t even ask for me to give you another chance because until you hire service personel that appreciate their job you will see...

This place is very small kind of cozy. They have outside seating as well which was nice that day cuz it just so happens that they were flying kids for free so they could be on an airplane they were just the small ones though that was pretty cool so as far as my food it was good I had just one biscuit and gravy it was really really good. Then I had orange juice which was good. I had an omelet with sausage and cheese oh it was really good it's like your traditional mom and pop restaurant . My sausage was sausage patties chopped up which was awesome. I did order a fresh apple turnover but the server had forgotten it so I didn't end up getting it. Overall experience I will definitely go back the food was good, service was good even though she forgot my apple turnover I get it we get busy sometimes but yes I highly recommend this place just for you know like a breakfast place didn't try the lunch yet but I'll try...

Sunday afternoon at the airport was lovely. We mostly came to sit out at the airport and see what flew in. The service was great.

Positives: Meat Lover’s Omelette (seasonal menu) is delicious and huge! I asked for extra crispy hash browns and they were perfect!! The gravy is delicious! They were out of the beautiful blue mugs, but the black ones are nice too and we ended up buying a set! The chicken fried steak was good and came with a mountain of mashed potatoes and gravy. A couple airplanes came through so that was fun.

Minor Negatives: Breakfast Tacos (seasonal menu) were small and a little dry. But still tasty. The chicken tenders were fine. The fries were just okay. But the gravy made them good!

Sadly the patio was closed so we sat inside where we could still see the runway.
