Saw mixed reviews about this place. Decided to give them a shot and see if the negative reviews were not just people who were finicky or something. Firstly, I was told 20 minutes for pickup. I showed up at 20 minutes and had to wait another 10, so a misfire there. Then the food quality was pretty dire.
Maybe the style of pizza is thick, dense chewy crust and light toppings with a ultra mild flavor, but I don’t really like my pizza that way. We got a large and ate three slices then threw the rest away the next day. Wings were decent.
Lastly, total was $30 for a large two topping pizza and 20 wings. I don’t have a problem paying $30 for a great pizza and some good wings, but this wasn’t worth $30, in my opinion.
Dominos or Papa John’s tastes bette than this and that’s not saying much. Next time I’ll drive to Mellow Mushroom and eat some fancy a$$ pizza and pay less and actually enjoy the meal.
Sorry, but I won’t be coming back again.
EDIT: Wasn't going to dignify their reply to my review with a response, but it's easy to see they are completely unapologetic for their poor quality food and service. Wanna roll the dice, that's on you. Just don't say I didn't warn ya!
Also, yesterday I spent $30 on a two topping pizza from Barro's with 24 wings. Same price, more or less, but it actually tasted...
Read moreOur family visited on a Friday night and shared a large cheese pizza. We had been to other Ray's Pizza locations but this is the best one in our opinion. The service was more attentive and the experience felt less like a walk up in the mall and more like a traditional fresh made (they are) pizza diner. While I was waiting, I moved from my table outdoors to a place close to the counter which happened to be next to a recently vacated table. The owner recognize this and told the cashier to bus that table I assume because he thought I might want it. She did and then asked if I'd like to move indoors. I explained I thought I could hear her call our order ready better up here and she said they would bring it out to us, so I gratefully took my outdoor seat again. Then when our pizza was brought to us from someone in the kitchen, she followed him shortly after and asked if we needed a slice cut into small squares for my toddler. I so appreciated this consideration. From our seat we enjoyed that good New York style pizza as we watched the sunset slip over the hills that line the...
Read moreI’m not sure what has happened to this location, I originally over 5 years ago gave 5 stars now no. After todays experience I will not give them my business any longer and it’s sad. I’ve been going here for 8 + years. This last experience in addition to the one previous was it. TODAY our pizza was not cut , maybe 4pieces actually cut we had to cut smaller pieces and this was a large pizza in picture I ordered a large anti pasta what u she is what I got after cutting it up I also asked for stew xtra mozzarella didn’t happen but I was charged for it THEN when we got pizza home they didn’t close one of the ranch containers so it spilled and covered the entire bag ….. and let’s not forget the time before this where they mocked and answered snarky that “we were the order with all the sides of ranch” like what? We paid for those so just put them in with the order don’t make a sarcastic comment about it. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THE SLICE SIZE👉👉👉👉👉👉👉I had to cut it because like I said above and when I called you guys didn’t cut the pizza all way...
