Wow! Phenomenal! In love with this place and would drive 6.5 hours to visit again! This was a weekend trip, I found this place in a basic Google restaurant search and the menu caught my eye. I was talking about it before we left Indiana and of all the things we traveled to Arkansas to do, this place stands out bigtime! Bartender is out of this world awesome! Best martini I've EVER been served and he knows his bourbon's as well. Top notch cuts of beef and delicious appetizers. We had the portobello mushrooms and the caprese but wanted to try them all. I couldn't believe that this place wasn't wall to wall packed but we arrived late. The server was outstanding and the chef was A-MAZING!!!!! My entree was chicken fried chicken, also the best I've ever eaten, thick cut and tender topped with a heavy cream gravy that was mouth watering. One of the sides is their version of Mac & cheese. Hard to set yourself apart with a basic side but they do, it's also topped with a rich creamy heavy cheese sauce and served beautifully. The atmosphere was perfect, customer chooses the music. Can't say that I've ever been more impressed ANYWHERE in my life. The prices are good 👍🏼 we spent a lot but we ate too much and had several specialty drinks. Did I mention the bartender and the server? So professional and friendly. It's apparent that the owners take pride in every aspect of the business. Better than 5 star in my opinion. Highly recommend. Employees are equally proud of the establishment. Go! Definitely Go!

Tops list of “Best Meals in Mountain Home!” Off to a great start with atypical appetizers plus sides cooked to perfection — including crispy Brussels sprouts, fried shiitake mushrooms, and wonderfully fresh “loaded” broccollini. Ribeye was excellent and the LE Burger (topped with fried egg) was decadent! Came back and got the shiitakes (amazing!) and chicken fried chicken — a generous portion and the whole-cream gravy was both rich and silky! Chicken tenders are generous and second to none! Repeat visitor and the food and quality of service is consistently excellent and the fries have greatly improved since 2024. New menu items (effective late June 2022) are exceptionally good — most notably the fried pork platter. And the Tijuana Caesar salad was also superb although my dressing balanced a little too heavy towards Dijon mustard. Had an excellent Cobb salad with added picanha steak: cooked perfectly and served pre-sliced. Note: Winter Patio seating should be avoided at all costs, as the waitstaff not only tolerates but also facilitates the misuse of the emergency exit by smokers, leading to a significant drop in room temperature and the presence of tobacco smoke in extremely cold weather, which is UNacceptable…plus staff repeatedly declined to close the emergency exit door while any smoker patrons remained outside.

This was an impromptu stop on a recommendation from a friend. We were given several options but this was one of only two places that was open on Sunday. LE is kind of a hipster vibe, to me. Televisions all around. Pleasant staff and they were attentive. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries. They have home cut fries. All of their food is made from scratch, so you can't really go wrong with any menu choice. My fella ordered the special. Which, tonight was classic chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and Texas toast. The special came with sauteed onions and mushrooms on top of it as well. Needless to say, we cleared our plates. The food was delicious!! Then to top it off, our waitress offered us dessert. Creme brulee cheesecake. LET ME TELL YOU...FABULOUS!!!!

It was about 9:04pm when my son and I made it to the establishment - (on ladies night) which we are not familiar with.

On arrival we wished to eat in the restaurant, but the waitress was not happy about it. My son is 13yo going on 22. When asking to be seated The waitress rolled her eyes looked at a sign that said (no children after 10pm) looked at the bar clock then at her watch then at us.

It was a very akward and unsettling experience, as we are from out of state, we did not know the rules and it was 9:04pm or 8:04pm mst. We had just driven from Kansas to Missouri then down to Mountian Home Arkansas. Being in a car for 14 hours and choosing what was named the best food in Mountian Home AR. (Apparently not the best service)

A simple “ how ya doing” hand us menus and kindly say “ we usually don’t allow children in here after 10pm, where ya’ll from?” Listen to our story and allow us to made a decision to stay or go. Without an attitude.

After observing the establishment I saw the sign and time and kindly suggested we will be taking the food to go since it was 45min till 10pm when she came to take our order. At that point she became enthralled that we would not be there after 10pm and began treating us with kindness.

I usually tip $25 + when staying at a restaurant. Sometimes $100 if the food is out of this world. Let’s just say she missed out on that $100 tip if we stayed.

The food took about 20 min to reach us. A very professional amount of time.

And let me tell you that what we ordered (hand breaded chicken strips and a Philly cheesesteak) was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. And I’m over 40yo that’s says something for this restaurant. Simply amazing with fresh and a perfect selection of ingredients. I was blown away, speechless, and every bite till the end was heavenly.

My son also commented that it was the best chicken strips and FF he’s ever had. And he’s eaten at around 120 different places in his 13 years. So you know it has to be the best, hands down. 10 out of 10.

The Togo packaging was perfect and bagging was perfect.

Also the cheese you get with the Philly is a buttery, cheesy blend that also pairs with the chicken fingers perfectly.

I will return to this establishment in the future, even with one of the most difficult and awkward situations I’ve ever experienced with a server. I’d gladly take the passive aggressive behavior to indulge in the most delicious and intoxicating food I’ve ever eaten. My hope is to stay and enjoy the full experience on my next pass through of Mountian home AR.

The atmosphere is a bar 100% from where we were seated. In the worst table of the whole joint. Next to bathrooms and by the front door

However the tables and identity of the Resturant was inviting and casual. I really did enjoy the people surrounding me and it was not very loud at all.

My 5 star review is based solely on the amazing food, from the kitchen. ! If they make less than $17 an hour. The manager needs to give them a raise, that menu in my state would be doubled and so would that $17 an hour mentioned for the chef. Whomever curated it needs a...
