So let me preface this review of the food was great! As you can tell from the appetizer pics, I ate first then thought about the review!
Appetizers Ahi tuna- love it, order it every time we dine at this wonderful restaurant. Mix the wasabi and soy sauce and get to town on the seared tuna.
Fried green tomatoes- fried to perfection, a southern delicacy! These fried green tomatoes were perfect. Lightly battered paired a creamy remoulade sauce.
Entrees!
Aged ribeye- my aged ribeye was cooked perfectly medium. Had great seasoning on it. I was Surprised at how tender it was. Overall, a great steak. I continued with a side salad and another southern delicacy of fried squash. Both were really good. I love some fried squash.
My wife ordered the salmon entrée- It had a pink pineapple relish on top of it. She would not let me take a bite, I’m assuming that meant it was very good!
The only negative about the whole experience was the temperature of the restaurant. It’s an older building and when it’s 100° outside, it’s hot inside. Other than that, the food was amazing as always.
Until next time!

First time at Taylor's Made. We had a large group so we sat outside the restaurant. It's probably a nice area for music and hanging out but it started to storm so we luckily found a seat inside.
Food didn't take long to get. Ordered the pork rinds for appetizer. They were really good. I had the grilled chicken chef salad... kind of hard to screw up a salad! The chicken was good and the tomatoes were fresh. Wife ordered the mixed grill shrimp and catfish with fried okra... okra was really good... none of that frozen stuff.
Positives: great place to hangout get a drink and relax. Food is good.
Negatives.. bar area gets really loud when crowded, and lots of fried foods on appetizers and menu.
Next time I go I will try...
Read moreI live a few blocks away and have been going here for the last 4 years. Our first trip a few years ago, the food was amazing and made us want to go back. Slowly, the food has become worse than Gas Station Food and more expensive than Red Lobster. I'm not exaggerating. First time I had the "Open Face Roast" is was awesome. The second time I had it, it was SANDWICH SLICES of processed meat. Not the expensive kind either, the cheap unchewable spit it out kind. My wife got parts of their pan in her dinner, Metal rivets that hold the handle on. Since then, we've had multiple dinners from there and each one was more nasty than the next and more expensive. Tonight I ordered smothered steak. It was a burned hamburger patty with powdered brown gravy mix you get at Kroger, Imitation Mashed Potatoes from a box and Green Beans.... And priced more than a Lobster Meal. I tossed all but the Green Beans in the trash and told my wife (AGAIN) we will never order from there again. Never.... If you like to drink and socialize, It's a cool place. If you want good food, you're better off eating Taco Bell, It's cheaper and the...
Read moreVery poor dining experience on 2/25/24. First off, we were seated in a dark area. The lights above didn't all work but we tried to be positive. We waited longer than usual to be seated & served, we considered just leaving. From there things went downhill. The service was very poor, slow. Food was served cold. Refills were not prompt at all and there were only 2 other tables along with ours. No mention of a kids meals although we had a small child. I had to ask for a childrens' menu. I could tell my food sat a while before being served. One member of our party specifically requested no bacon because she doesn't eat pork. Her meal was served with bacon mixed in. Also, there's a card usage fee that we were not informed of until after purchase otherwise I would have opted to use cash. Overall a very underwhelming experience. I was new to the area and stopped. I will not eat at this location again. 🚫 Too expensive for the low quality of food...
