Service was great, food not so much. We all the Big Breakfast. My mom got her plate and we just laughed at how burnt the sausage came out, I don’t even know why the server brought it out in the first place. Bacon was salty, hash browns tasted old, coffee was weak& the pancakes were good. Overall, very upset about our experience as the diner has ravishing reviews & our experience wasn’t so hot. They have potential but needs lots of work.

Good hearty comfort food. Large portions. Very good prices for the amount of food you get. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Tables fill quickly and there is counter seating as an option. It was crowded and quite loud (with happy chattering). The waitress was so busy but she did a great job of taking orders and checking in with us and her other tables. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

This is a great place to eat. The staff is very friendly and on the ball. The meal pictured was $6.99! I LOVE their potato caserole.. they have it everyday. The bacon is delish has a great flavor. The atmosphere is inviting and they even have hand sanitizer on every table. A MUST try peeps!

This place has a small wait but it is worth it. The food is homemade, no frozen or canned stuff. It's all fresh. They use fresh food grown locally. The folks are nice and wait staff are friendly and the cooks here know how to cook your food just the way you order it. My compliments to all the Diner's employees. I don't have tell y'all to come to this cause most locals eat here; just continue coming and ordering their delicious food. But for those passing by stop in and get the best tasting food your mouth has ever had and a friendly dose of hospitality. Oh, please tip, they give better service than anyplace in the big cities and the food is great, well it's better than in those high pollutant cities that people pay a arm and leg for, come through, stop and get the best food you ever had anywhere. They are located on U.S. 43 in Bangor, MI. I recently moved to Elkhart Indiana for my job however, I would make the trip food this place and the...

Stopped by for breakfast on our way home from South Haven. First off, the waitress was rude to the people that came in after us… I realize the place was busy, but no need to be rude. Second, two tables came in after us - one a table of 2 & the other a table of 6. Their orders was taken before us & served way before us. The table of 6 was done with their food & were leaving when we finally got out food. I ordered an omelet with hash browns & toast… I asked for crispy hash browns & they came out cold & gummy; both my omelet & toast was also cold. My boyfriend got the corn beef hash with eggs & toast. He ordered the eggs sunny side up… it came out medium & everything was cold. If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. We had heard from others that this place was great & we would not be disappointed. Sadly, it was the worst breakfast I have ever had. We will...

Ordered fries with my steak pasta. Never got fries. Every piece of steak in the pasta had a giant chunk of gristle at the end. Steak pasta was described as having zucchini, squash, tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Portion was enormous and also badly disproportionate. There were 3 huge chunks of green peppers, four small chunks of zucchini, no onion, no squash...I assume it would have been summer squash. It was basically 85% pasta, 10% gristle meat and 5% vegetable. Green beans were canned. Yuck. Had no broccoli so the canned green beans were the substitute. It was not what...
