The people who helped me were nice enough it's just that I ordered a salad and a coffee. . . the salad was very large and mediocre.

The coffee, well. . I won't claim to be an expert but to me, it was awful.

I said I needed to get back on the road soon and they said no problem. Later one was apologizing because they didn't have my coffee ready. Eventually I got it and asked for a to go cup.

Well, I got a cup almost 1/2 full and asked for a top. No top.

I asked for a to go container for the salad.. not much luck

Long story short, I walked out with a coffee and tin foil as a lid, salad wrapped in tin foil...and styrofoam container.

I forgot, NO CREAM... and the coffee was hot. No milk...nada. Eventually I asked for ice cubes. That they had.

Overall, it seems this place is good enough for the...

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT stop here, decided to check this pizza place they just opened, first night we go they told us they don’t make pizza after 8, even though it is a pizza place, we don’t make a big deal we go home, come back the two days later and we make a to go order, as we’re waiting there we see the cook touching everything with his hands and eating and not once did we see him wash his hands nor did he leave our sight, then we leave to wait in the car for and when we go back in they inform us that they lost our order and it goes in after. Later as it was coming out the lady in charge of pizza asked who’s pizza it was and then she accidentally chopped it up, we asked for a refund and left there is no reason we should have waited an hour for a pepperoni that we...

I would really like to recommend this place, the food was really good and the staff was friendly. However, after receiving my statement, I have some questions. Inside, they complain if you use a card because it "supports banks," and they charge you a fee. All that is fine, all other buisness everywhere who accept cards charge a fee too, most include it in the price. What isn't okay is to write in your own tips. I had visited 4 times, and every transaction on my statement does not match my receipts. If you tip using cash here, make sure you write it in on your receipt so they can't change it on you. As a small business, who is going to prop up a sign to complain about your choice in payment method? So is it really their preference then, so they can tack on...

Big River Pizza & Grill, service was great, very friendly to everyone that came in through my short time there. Wish I would have had time for a pizza, not this time. The fries were very good, golden and crispy. The burger was not quite as good as the fries. Pros good bun, meat tasted good, fair amount of pickles, Bacon well its bacon, fresh onions, and lettuce. Cons mostly bun, meat was small, meat was overcooked, lettuce seemed wet, very little mayo / catchup / mustard or sauce, so a bit on the dry side, except for the lettuce and tomato. It still had a good flavor. Price was $14.00 burger and fries. So little on the high side. I will try again someday. It's definitely worth another shot based on service and fries.

The service and food could NOT have been more outstanding. This is my first experience at this establishment. The burger I had is titled the Bulldoggen bacon cheeseburger. This is one of the largest and tastiest burgers I've ever had. Lots of super crispy bacon and three large onion rings did the trick. It also comes with all the fixings including the best hickory smoked barbecue sauce I've ever tasted. The staff were on the ball, professional and kind. I received my work of art in about 10 short minutes. Also includes the old fashioned crinkle fries with authentic Hidden Valley Ranch dressing-if that's your thing.

Our family was traveling through and decided to stop here for lunch. We had our two young boys with us and we ordered a 16" pepperoni pizza and I got their house salad. The house salad was fantastic and filled with lots of toppings which I loved. Everything was so fresh! Pizza came out not too much longer and it was hot and delicious with yummy sauce, pepperoni and really good crust. Definitely will be recommending this place to our friends and family who travel this way! It's also next to a gas station and an area you can get out and walk around.
