The Italian Melt I had was unique and very delicious. The specials - Chicken sandwiches were also happily enjoyed. The market is a hidden gem. I would be happy to have any meal of the day from their great choices. The service is both very friendly and efficient. The place is immaculate, and offers a wide variety of items, such as craft beer, small selection of cheeses, local chocolates, pasta, ice cream, other very interesting beverages, donuts, cookies, salads, parfaits, and I believe wine as well. As others mentioned, an inviting front porch with beautiful heavy rocking chairs to eat from. You cannot go wrong with stopping in for something. Not sure if they sell specialty breads. No matter what I have a hard time picking a meal (because it all sounds amazing) and when I do finally decide, it’s awesome. Anyone that complains about prices should just go get a happy meal then. Leave the comfort food to the professionals. This is downright, good food. I’ve worked in Arlington for 6 years and will not go anywhere else now for lunch when I’m able to afford to eat out. The real draw are the generous portions of takeout food, with an interesting, varied and sometimes sophisticated menu (how many Vermont corner stores have osso buco with truffle polenta?). That's side by side with breakfast wraps and weekend wings and fries. And good coffee.
