Palma’s Bakery & Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Arroyo

We found this spot while on our road trip. It's a panadería/cafeteria. Baked goods look delicious. The food takes a little while but that's because it's made to order. There's seating avaliable outside. The seating area inside is small but comfortable. The walls are adorned with pictures full of history. I wish they would put up a brief description with the pictures.

We ordered sandwich de mortadela and sandwich de pernil with egg; coffee and tornillitos. They were delicious.

Nephews' report: It was good, very good. Large portion enough for 2 people. The sandwich is half a load of a bread. Very good, this one is the best one I've had. Yeah, the best sandwiches.

There is a bathroom available but it's outside the building. It was very clean.

We will definitely visit this...

This bakery is a good stop on a walk in the south of the island. It has good parking, freshly squeezed and delicious orange juice, very good coffee, varied breakfasts, and what no one expects... a very Creole menu of delicious food. We went a little crazy here and ordered a bunch of stuff but it was all amazing. The frapuchinos were the best coffee frappes we've had. The chocolate one had great coffee and chocolate flavor, something most coffee shops struggle with balancing well. The cheese twist thingy was divine.
