Rene BBQ — Restaurant in Arroyo

My wife and her family took me here to eat after a day at the beach. Wow! I've been to Puerto Rico six times, and out of all the places I've eaten, this place tops them all! The mojitos for starters are made with real fruit. We got the passion fruit mojitos, and they were soo good!

The food was delicious. Every meal was made to perfection. The Mofongo was out of this world. They give you tons of food for the price so you're guaranteed to never leave hungry. Rene Bbq was so good that every place I visit to eat afterwards is judged based on it.

Very clean establishment and very friendly people and to top it off, very good food. The ONLY thing I really didn’t like is the menu doesn’t have prices, so, when you pay, you don’t know what to expect the amount to be. I absolutely HATE the element-of-surprise. The food was excellent. However, the line was long while we were waiting. 2 girls (employees) started arguing loud in front of the clients, not nice at all. If they don't want to work, send them home. You have a huge line of clients to take care of, and you have employees arguing in regards to who works in what area. Wow, not nice....
