Shady Crest Farm Market — Restaurant in Arthur

My mom and I really enjoyed our shopping experience at Shady Crest Farm Market. It was a cold, blustery wind type of day so we didn't linger outside for very long. We took our time looking at all the decoration items that they have near the entrance of the market. The fall decorations were 10% off which was nice. They offer a lot of locally made items in their store such as salsas, jams and many other items. They have a deli that was pretty busy when we were there. Another store we stop in when we are in Arthur for bakery goods, barbecue sauce, salsa, dips, specialized popcorn, candy, and more. The staff is always friendly and you can find unique grocery goods, local produce, sandwiches, and fried pies. It's a great little store that has grown so much in all the years we've been going there. You have to make sure you visit all the locally-owned stores in town, as they support locally-owned businesses. We were traveling and on the hunt for farm fresh eggs. A local told us to go here and so glad we did!! We went in for eggs and flour and came out with a buggy full! They have local meat and veggies, as well as eggs and a store full of goodies! Like a mix between a grocery store and a farmer’s market! The prices were unbelievably good!!
