China Red House — Restaurant in Arvin

I know writing this review isn’t gonna do me any favors. Uhm anyways, the steamed rice there is like Uncle Ben’s rice. You should go there on Halloween. I guess glaciers are disappointing. A blonde with blue eyes owns it the core but it’s in Chinese though. Chinese men think she’s an animal and she thinks she’s a HEtARD. But she doesn’t cook like one. Otherwise I’d give it a 5 star review. The resurrected Christ probably made that rice. She is obviously married to the owner. That Chinese man of an owner is obviously orphaned so he’s materialistic and sexual as all hell. Being her customer is better than being mine. I should feel sorry for anyone who sees the look on my face when I don’t receive a tip. The business will never close down because of my mean face. He stopped making love to her and that’s why the rice is bad. I’ll make love to her for good rice. I’m really happy for his old happy to know that he’s rich thanks to her. Generous amounts of delicious food at amazing prices!! Came here with family visiting from Korea who needed a break from burgers and pizza on our road trip to LA and it was a big hit with everyone. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, mapo tofu, potato slices, veggie fried rice, and chicken noodle soup. Everything was good but the soup and potatoes were my favorite. The fried rice was a little bland on its own but perfect with the other flavorful dishes. The couple working here were so kind and helpful as well. We were so happy with the food that we ordered salt and pepper squid, fried shrimp, potstickers, and more veggie fried rice for our ride home to the Bay. We were PLEASANTLY surprised by this hidden gem. We got stuck on the grapevine due to a very bad accident. We pulled over to stretch our legs and get food. We didn't want fast food and we are EXTREMELY grateful we took a chance on this little place.

The service was wonderful and everyone was friendly. The food was delivered quickly, hot, fresh and fantastic! There aren't combination plates - so eat family style. We enjoyed sharing and trying a bit of everything. We had egg drop soup, egg rolls, pork chow mein, steamed rice, orange chicken and kung pao chicken. Everything was delicious 😋😋😋
