My son and I were working in the area and by chance saw brothers pizza and decided to try it out on our lunch break. There is no shortage on pizza and sub shops so we weren’t expecting much more than the standard. The moment we walk through the door we were greeted buy a friendly staff including the owner, a cashier and a cook. All three were very personable and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. We had planned on grabbing a couple subs and taking it to go on our way back to our job. We quickly decided to enjoy our lunch there instead. The booths we very clean and there were large television screens On the walls facing every booth. While waiting for our food the owner stop by our booth and introduced himself. Once I was subs were ready, they were delivered to us at the table bye the cashier. A few minutes later, the cook came out and asked how the food was. We both ordered subs and they were surprisingly as good as the service. The bread was great and toasted crispy, the meat was much better than typically found in subs and the lettuce was fresh and crispy. honestly the best subs I’ve had anywhere in a long time. I’m not a big pizza and sub guy to begin with so this was very impressive. On top of everything their prices were cheaper than any other sub shop I’ve been to. So take it from a true food critic that enjoys good food. I have run a plumbing and heating company for 30 years and eat out all the time. I’ve been to just about every restaurant in a 25 mile radius. I give this restaurant five stars based on friendly inviting atmosphere, top quality fresh delicious food and cheapest prices around. God Bless them and...
Read moreToday I went to brothers at a non peak time, was the only person in the restaurant. I hadn't been there and wanted to give it a try since i'm frequently driving past it in the afternoon.
Guy behind the counter took my order, a calzone to go, chicken and onion. Nothing complicated.
Sat down at the booth nearest the counter facing the tv and proceeded to space out into my phone.
During this time one takeout customer came in, and there were a couple phonecalls. Mostly though it was dead enough for the guy behind the counter to hang out with his girlfriend in a booth and in back until his replacement came in. Another employee came out and ate his lunch directly infront of me, a chicken sub.
A bit after he finished while i was turned around looking at the counter another employee, or maybe just a teen hanging out(?) came from the back and stood by the counter mostly trying to avoid eye contact, I guess me sitting there made his tv watching weird.
At that point the timestamps on my phone showed i had been there a solid 35 if not 40 minutes, at a slow point of the day, with atleast several employees present and not one word about anything. Just awkward eye contact and funny looks.
If it was a busy time, or they were tied up with a large called in order that would have been perfectly acceptable, just let me know. But for multiple employees to be aware I am sitting there for a significant length of time and do what can only be described as avoiding contact/work, that is in no way acceptable.
You can keep your calzone, I'll spend my money next door.
