Some of the best Sushi in the Middle TN area. Didn't take too long and most of the tables were full. Great addition to the area as most the other food in Ashland City is middle of the road.

  • UPDATE * We went in for dinner last time and this time lunch. FRESH special lunch rolls and great price. Still better than most other sushi in middle TN. Even tho this was only 10 days later, the service and speed is getting faster. It was damn near perfect, matching the food. Only thing that would be better would be some traditional tea pots. (For us that love tea and not sweet tea lol) the staff was so amazing and even tho only the second time there, greeted us and remembered us. Sweet small town feel and for the newest and really only good sit down meal in AS, we will continue to eat here. Thank you

UPDATE Still the best, not just sushi restaurant but the staff is AMAZING and the nicest team of people around. Took the wifey for her birthday and she got to blow out the...

8/1/25: Always loved this place until today. They never brought out my food. I asked for the check and then the girl comes running out with the food. Waited 30 minutes. Then they wanted to still charge me for the food I didn't receive, a salad, and the sauce that I couldn't use because I didn't have food to put it on. No apology. Loud girl gave attitude.

Previous Review: Giving this one a 5. I've eaten at quite a few Hibachi places in the past. While this isn't the best I've had, it was definitely very good. It's the best available without a long drive. The service was outstanding and atmosphere nice. The food came out very quick and was as expected. No complaints on my end at all. Pricing seemed to be actually cheaper than expected. ...

We're so glad that we finally checked this place out! We ordered the fried gyoza, steak hibachi, 2 special rolls, and one order of sashimi. The gyoza was perfectly cooked and deliciously cripsy. We asked for the steak hibachi cooked rare, and it was perfect and so tender! Restaurants often overcook steak, but that was not the case here! The sushi and sashimi were very fresh tasting, and very flavorful! The sushi was also presented beautifully. Added bonus: the wasabi tasted REAL, not the fake green sludge that you might get at other places. The staff were also so friendly, attentive, and welcoming! Thank you for a fantastic meal, we will...

I had the pleasure of dining here yesterday for my dad’s birthday. We were excited that there is a Japanese option in Ashland City now and excited to try it. It did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious!! The hibachi scallops, filet, and chicken were all cooked perfectly. Melt in your mouth tender. Excellent flavor. The fried rice and vegetables were great, too. The sushi was fantastic and so fresh! The gyoza and haru maki were also great starters. It was very reasonably priced and had good portions. We will definitely back! Everyone go try it!

I came because I love Sushi! Opening night. Pretty crowded. Long wait, but that’s ok, they are just getting started and trying to get into the swing of things. The Sushi I tried was the SweetHeart Roll and the Nashville Roll. Both excellent! Especially the Nashville one having chicken inside of it. I mean it’s hard to mess up Sushi, ya know? Haha. I’ll definitely come back soon to try the Hibachi and Bento Boxes or other rolls. Thank you Kyoto for the service. I’m sure y’all will be rocking and rolling in about a month or so.
