Yoder's Red Barn Ice Cream — Restaurant in Ashland

When I lived in Ashland, this place was good! Sadly, it's gone downhill. The help was dull and one person had an attitude towards me for no reason. The ice cream was so soft that it wouldn't stay on the cone. When she handed it to me I said "I need a cup!" It was sliding right off :( Of four people, none of us finished our ice cream (smalls and baby sizes)... The portions seemed small to me.... The person who rang me out said the total was 9.50, I gave her a 20 and she gave me 9.50 in change........ She did offer me a cup carrier which was nice because I needed it. It's sad that this wasn't a positive experience...

One of my favorite ice cream places! They have real hand-dipped ice cream (as opposed to soft serve like McDonald's) in a variety of amazing flavors. We always get a single scoop in a cup, which ends up being a few scoops to fill the cup for a great price! Yoder's has been a part of the Ashland community for many years. People have swarmed there for years for their delicious ice cream of many flavors, the friendly staff and the outdoor seating that allows people to just sit and enjoy their deserts. Yoder's also offers hot foods as well, which I have yet to try but I have been told the food is good. There is nothing fancy about Yoder's but there is something that will keep you wanting...
