Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Bagel Barn in Ashtabula, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The bagels were nothing short of perfect—light, airy, chewy, and bursting with flavor. I opted for the everything bagel topped with avocado cream cheese, and it was simply amazing. The balance of flavors was spot on.

What truly made my visit special was the warm atmosphere and welcoming vibe. The owner I spoke with was exceptionally kind, which added to the overall experience. Walking into Bagel Barn feels inviting, with vibrant colors and an excellent layout that makes you feel right at home.

Have spent a lot of time here the last 2 weeks since opening and I must say as someone who used to work in a similar place you’re doing an amazing job! The staff who are all new are so friendly and efficient! The bagels that are all made fresh daily and shaped by hand are so good (you’ll never get perfectly round uniform bagels when making them that way), but to me that gives them character and you can definitely tell they are homemade! The bagels are decent, these are not New York style bagels, these are more just balls of bread, but tasty enough. The flavors of cream cheese are not good. Strawberry has no sweetness, herd and garlic are mainly just garlic and the bacon horseradish are missing most of the bacon.
