We rode here from bingham on the atvs, stopped for lunch and they absolutely did not disappoint. The staff were tremendously friendly, food was seriously so delicious, they had the best homemade desserts from giant brownies and whoopies to the absolute most delicious cake. I had the corn chowder in a bread bowl which was so creamy and perfect tasting, kids had grilled cheese and chicken tenders with fries which were all freshly made with homemade bread for the grilled cheese. Been very eager to have lunch at Landlubbers Grill & Dairy Bar, Rt. 150, S. Main St., Athens. Today I had the Lobster Roll Basket and it was marvelous. Lots of 🦞🦞🦞🦞 🦞 meat! Freshly fried onion rings and cole slaw completed this meal. I was going to stop there, but the beard whispered...Strawberry Shortcake! The strawberries were plentiful, warm biscuit and whipped cream, yum. The prices were so reasonable. Landlubbers has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We met a friend here and we're thankful for outdoor seating with our dog. A waiter asked if she could have a treat and I said yes thinking it was a biscuit. He brought out soft-serve with two biscuits!!! So nice, I've never had that happen at a restaurant. I had the haddock sandwich which was great and fried mushrooms, also yummy with good sauce. My husband had the lobster roll which was tasty, I got to try a bite. We both ordered small ice creams that we couldn't finish.
