Not bad for a small-town cafe. The omelet was cooked excellently. The sausage had great flavor, but it seemed precooked, giving it a darker look and taste. It was $17.00 for us to split a four-egg veggie omelet, two slices of wheat toast, hash browns, and two sausage patties, one tea, and water. The place is clean. They only accept cash. The waitress was good but overly friendly (fake), almost like she was babying us. But she did her job well. That's better than a bad attitude by far. The only odd thing was the local coffee club of older men lingering and staring, but it's also great to see the seniors in the community having old-school coffee gossip sessions. Read moreThis place is pretty unassuming from the curb. Looks small until you go inside, and parking is difficult to find. The menu is varied, with everything from cold sandwiches to hot entrees. I had the Monte Cristo, which comes with fries and coleslaw, and my husband had a double cheeseburger (which he raved about the great flavor and seasoning). They have really good fries. Service was great. The only negative I had is that they only accept cash and they dont seem to have an air conditioner--it was so hot in the building I couldn't eat my food (but it tasted amazing once I got to the car!). Great food from breakfast to dinner. Burgers and deli sandwiches(generous portions of corned beef) to Mexican and Salvadoran specialties. Chips and salsa(made fresh daily). Daily specials. Kids menu.
