Everything looked and sounded so good that I ordered various items - small ground turkey nachos, small chicken burrito, and two steak tacos. My mom did the same but ordered small ground turkey nachos, chicken quesadilla, and two chicken tacos. It took about 20 minutes for a food to be ready. We waited in the sitting area inside. When the food was ready, everything looked so good that I was SO ready to get home and eat!
I ate the nachos first - FIRE! They give you the option of regular chips or Doritos; I chose regular chips and was pleasantly surprised that they were homemade tortilla chips which held up really well and didn’t get soggy like some nacho chips. I’m also glad I got the small because it actually filled me up - the large would’ve been too much for just me.
Even though I was full, I had to try a taco as well and it also was really good. Tender steak, perfect amount of toppings, and the verde sauce was good as well.

Read moreThis is a great gem. The staff was friendly and it was a positive vibe. Food was excellent, I was wary because most places say their food is the best, but they definitely have the right to brag and say this!! I LOVE tacos, mexican food in general and this is one of the best places I have eaten from. The chicken quesadillas was fire, the tacos, I had chicken, steak and a veggie one, was super fire!!! Man next time I go will try the Berria tacos, I just know they will be excellent too. The location is in an urban area but its cool. I was just in and out. Kudos to this good taco spot in the A!!!!!!!! Oh 3 stars for atmosphere cuz I wasnt feeling the old couch and other stuff, but the history and ambiance other...
Read moreI can’t lie, the food & customer service was beyond great 💯💯.. But those lil steak tacos aren’t worth $12 for only two tacos & NOTHING comes with it… I’ve been passing here for months heading to & from work & really wanted to try this place. Im glad I did, but I will probably never return due those prices. Anywhere else for a couple more bucks, you can get an entire taco dinner with rice & beans for $14-$16.. & if u dine in, get free salsa too…I do recommend stopping by at least once to support a black owned business, because their tacos are Delicious. But if they want Repeat customers like myself, that drives by daily, they’ll have to add rice & a drink or something for those prices. $5-$6 for one lil taco?? No...
