Tommy's Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Atlanta

I contacted Tommy’s BBQ requesting they cater a memorial service for my husband. When I went in with my granddaughters the owners were so helpful and friendly. I ordered brisket and sides for 40 people. Additionally we ordered plates to take with us; the ribs and brisket were wonderful, as were the green beans and mac and cheese casserole. They did tell me that they provide more brisket per person than most places.

The day of the service the food was hot and ready. The guests raved about the food mentioned above along with a peach cobbler and a blackberry cobbler. There was so much meat that I had quite a bit leftover. So nice to have stuff to last for another day or two. My son-in-law went in to pick up the food and told me we will be coming back here. He said it was all he could do to not order a meal and sit down to eat it right then and there.

I cannot recommend this place...

Really good food! I'm a long-haul trucker. I went to church Trinity Church this am, and after Church asked, where was a good place in town to get good BBQ? 2 or 3 people suggested Tommy's. I'm glad they did! The food was very good. I had the 2 meat plate with Brisket and Ribs. The Brisket was good. The 1st Rib was Great! The other 2 were kinda dry. I spoke to Tommy and told him I wasn't trying to get more food but thought he should know. He asked, "Could I eat more? I said, of course, but that wasn't why I was telling him about them. He promptly brought me 3 more ribs. They were GREAT!!! Imo some of the best ribs I've had! Also had the blackberry cobbler for dessert. It was good also. Tommy's bbq is definitely a great place to eat and take your family.. ate their once and him, his wife and daughter were so nice to me I went back 4 times that week... took my dad once and he has came back twice already.. their service is just great... and the food is great too and they pile it on your plate.. good home cooking lunch specials and bbq.. its are new favorite place to eat... took my 91 year grandpa home of piece of Tommy's daughter's homemade peach cobbler and he had me order him a whole pan of it..so that's what I did..he said it reminded him of when he was a boy back in the 1930's becuz it tasted like the one his momma used to make.. cant say enuf about how much we r enjoying the food and our...
